I have been using it for last 1 and half years. It is a powerhouse of utilities. The modern day gazzetes will feel envy in front of Nokia E63. It has all important sofwares for multimedia as well as for office work. I can check office mail, chat , surf internet as in desktop. It is a personal assistant and an all-time companion for me now. This product is obsolete now. Can anyone tell me which Nokia phone is now closest to this one ?

rly stabds by its name... E-for economical.... Debutd in '08... Bght it in '10... N still gvs a tgh cmptition to ol t smartphones f '12... It dsn feel oobselete... Thnks to it internet,battery n ovrol quality... Rly wrth buyin n resonably priced.... No ltst phn f its price rng is far far away frm it.. N vn t high end costliest smartphns dn't cm wit t quality nokia offers... :) nokia forever...
Ps: only apple cms after nokia in terms f quality n ol othr good things... bt u knw.. iphn is light years ahead f e63 in terms f price... So...!!

I have Nokia e63 and i like it very much its been 6 months since i am using i have many software in it and using best for internet and more....

superb Phone ...Best Value for Money...Hands on usage from mid of 2009...... Didn't find any error till now in its performance and its usage.... Good battery life....Camera is worst....Good internet speed.

've had this phone for more than a year and a half now (two years this November) and it's brilliant! The internet speed is great, the querty keyboard is flawless, it's very customizable, with a good theme (black background) it's even easy to read books on it (I've read two books on it, each one having well over 500 pages, just load them as txt. and ta daaa!), it has a lot of programs, you can open most office documents not to mention pdfs.
The only small problem I've ever had was with the menu button. When you press the menu button it freezes at times for a second or two. As I've read on a forum, this is because the menu button is placed next to the home button. This problem is very (VERY) easily remedied by swapping from the settings menu the camera button with the menu one. Instead of having "Menu" assigned on the left button you have to change it to the right one. After you have swapped them (it takes 5 seconds and no Phd to do it) your problem is forever fixed.
The phone has a good mp3 player and it copes well with multitasking. You can browse the net while you listen to music, send texts, read books, basically have all sorts of applications opened at the same time without slowing down the phone. When it's really TOO much it tells you that it's out of memory and you should turn off some programs.
The camera isn't state of the art, has something of a greenish hue for the inside photos but this is a Nokia thing. Then again, given its small price and everything else that it can do, the performance it delivers, you can't really expect an 8mp camera with it as well.
Besides all its goodies regarding programs, multitasking and everything else it delivers, it's REALLY sturdy. I've dropped it quite a few times and not many of those times did it fall on a carpet and it had no problems. I dropped it from 2 meters on the cement, the battery went one way, the rest of it in another way, the plastic actually chipped on the side it impacted and when I assembled it back it worked like nothing had happened and it still works great.
If you want a good phone, with which you can do a lot of stuff at a more than reasonable price, this is the phone to go for!

Its th finest phone ever. It will not entertain like android and Iphone. But Its a classic Business phone. I am using Since 2 yrs. Its awesome mobile. U can chat, check mail. battery is great. Messenger do work.can download games. On and all fantastic phone

there is a prob. in my phone. "no access" shows on 2g BSNL network but works on 3g network. Other cellular network works fine. nokia care told that this problem will not be solved. Updated the firmware, but not works. any solution?

how to use the (Meeting, Outdoor, Pager) in this phone...=> its key is located in the power on/off of the E63 phone...
