If you want a bargain basement GSM smartphone, this is it (I paid less than $200 from an computer manufacturer website)! I never used Symbian before (I used WM and BlackBerry), so I am learning the phone. Learning curve is steeper on Symbian. But all is well. The reception is better than some of the GSM non-smartphones I have used. I like the media player because of the equalizers. The battery life seems good enough for the tope of device. I like the wifi feature (I need to find a way to make free calls LOL)... Too bad my primary CDMA carrier's closest match that doesn't require a data plan is a Samsung i760 (ancient)... The size of the phone reminded me of the Motorola Q, so it is not overly huge to me... although the keys can never be big enough for my big fingers LOL
All in all, solid phone for the casual user.

i believe e71 is better than e63, but generally very similar features and look too.

i want to buy e63 but is it good for ordinary people that want to use the phone not for business but only for entertainment? sorry for bad english .i'm from malaysia and the phone price here is rm899

Hi... Which one is best E63 or E71. I am looking to purchase E series but only cost & body is the difference between these 2 models. As we maintain it for long time is it worthy to spend 20k on E71(Steel Body, 3MP Camera) or is it better to stay with E63(Plastic Body,2MP camera) for 12k. Please suggest..

I'm so jealous when i hear u going to get hold one..:( Aargh..it's irritating to wait it..but the good thing is the price keep dropping lately..so its worth to wait it a little..hehe :)

This is one of the best phones that Nokia ... moreDitto ... on this 7500 is a huge difference ...but even if the difference wud have been less still E63 rocks as a 3.5mm is the way to go .. plug into any portable speakers my room/car/friends places all have speakers with 3.5 mm ...just plugnplay ur fav tracks
Still planning to buy but for me a Business phone with 3.5mm is Perfect !!

I tried hunting for E63 in all the shops in Mumbai and Goa but was unable to lay my hands on the blue version. Only Red is available wherever i go. Is it worth using a "Red" business phone?? Pls help..

It is a very good phone and I haven't experienced any hiccup with it. Its feel, however, is certainly plasticky espacially for a person who has been using the sturdy E61 till the other day.
