Mary, 02 Apr 2009Im planning to buy E63 Tomorrow and I'm torn between ge... moreHi! I'm also from the philippines. there are available housings/casing of nokia e63. you can find them in Quiapo but these are just class a and you can really tell the difference. (its made of cheap plastic) the casing/housing is around Php1,500 to Php2,000 then you have to shell out another Php 1,500 for them to install it.

Bondzie..., 20 Mar 2009I have installed Google Maps in my E63 and its working awes... morequestion for Bondzie:
Id like to know if you were able to upload the google map without the help of a separate Bluetooth GPS module like LD-4W by Nokia. How did you do it? Does it also tell you (whether text or voice) if you're going on the wrong direction?

Im planning to buy E63 Tomorrow
and I'm torn between getting red or blue.
Please help!!!
Would you know if there are available housing for E63 on the market? I mean in the Philippines. I hope my fellow countrymen will respond. If so, would you know where and for how much? Can I just buy it in kiosks selling cell parts? This is in case I buy a red unit and resell or give it to a male user.
Appreciate your quick response to all my queries.
Kudos!

hello everyone!
I just wanna get your opinion on this. I especially hope i could get a lot of feedback from the boys.
Id like the vibrant red color of E63 but my fear is if ever I plan on reselling it, i know i'd have great difficulty selling it to guys obviously because its red. I know guys would prefer silver, black, gold and blue for a phone. But of course there will be others who are much funky, youthful and bold who wouldnt mind a daring red unit.
Im going for blue only for the possibility of reselling but my heart yearns for red.
If only money is not an object, then i would have to ask this question.
What do you think guys? Would you go for red? Please respond and be counted. I wanna get the number of those in favor and those who are not.
I would really appreciate it a lot. Many thanks!

Hi Im on the verge of buying E63. I have some very important queries i really need to know first.
1) I want to know the difference between document reader and pocket office or office applications. Would i be able to make documents using word, excel and powerpoint directly on the device (not from pc then transfer to E63) or I could just read the files already created from a pc? I prefer the ability to make a file directly on the phone if possible.
2) How do I upload applications like mobile dictionary, translator, google maps etc.? Should I upload them first to a pc then save it to the device granting the USB cable is connected to the pc and E63 and the microsd card is in the E63 card slot? So sorry, I havent done any uploading to a mobile phone yet. It will be my first and im so excited. These are my top most needs in a smartphone aside from camera and music.
Hope anyone can shed some light? Thanks! :>

i don't really care about the camera quality, i just want to know if the wifi is a decent speed. cos if it is, i'll just get it and sit in macdonalds or all my e-mails and stuff and not buy any "food". sucked in maccas, you should never have advertised free wifi. mwahahaha!!!

'as what has been posted by someone name anynomous' this is what he has to say'--
Pros n cons
pros (relative to Nokia E71)
Approximately £120 cheaper (e.g. £200 rather than £320, looking at RRP)
3.5mm audio out (the E71 has the diminutive 2.5mm version)
Separate Ctrl/Chr keys (also for @ and / characters, to avoid confusing new users)
Flashlight function (press and hold space bar to turn the LED flash light on)
Comes with 1GB of space on Files on Ovi (valid for one year))
Grippier keyboard finish and rubberised rear
Global Bloxx game
Internet Radio (though this has been added to the E71 in its latest firmware)
Nokia E63 cons (relative to Nokia E71)
Thicker (but no heavier)
Smaller space bar
All plastic
Only 2mp cam, no focussing
Doesn't come with USB cable
No GPS
No 3.5G
No IR port
No volume controls
No voice control button
No 2GB memory card
