Those statements are all false.
First, the battery is one of the best feature of this phone. i use my e63 for music almost all day long and it will last 3 days before it drains. if i dont use it much, like 1hour music a day, and some call and text, it will last for a week.
Next, the battery is not loose, there is no creaking sound. the battery is in tact with the case. This is one review i read over the net about its cover and battery... it says that, "because it is made out of plastic, there is a worry that the plastic will wear out making the back cover loose which will make the battery creaky." well, that i dont believe, the plastic is hard, the padlock is also hard so it wont wear easily. (Though we have to find that out in years, since this phone is new release).
Last, the light in the keys are dark. cmon, thats totally untrue. the light is so proper for the eyes.

interested in e63, 18 Jan 2009thanks Jamjali, for your kind answer to my question but wha... moresince e63 got a 3.5mm jack where you can plug any earphone directly, you can bring your phone to test what fits the sound of your celphone. but i think almost all good earphone will be compatible with e63. i already tried aiwa, sony, some are unpopular brands (yet they work very fine). i bought a panasonic because its cheaper yet the sound is the same as the expensive earphones.
about the qwerty keypads, i can say that qwerty keypad aare alot more better than the ordinary celphone keypads. once you get used to it, youll text more acurate and faster.
the battery of this phone is really astounding. i use this phone often, i play a lot of music all day, yet it will last for three days before the battery will drain. if i dont use it for music, it can last as long as one week.
i tried its wifi, 3g, and other connection. no complains about it.
the only con for this phone for me is that its wide (though the wide screen compensates for it, nice way to veiw movies). and sometimes really, like the prob of the other guy in the comment, i also experienced when i press the menu key, the menu will not come out so i have to restart it. but really, these cons are no big deal.

great phone!!!
i buy for 3 week, i have no problem with this phone..
good aplication, good battery power, very fast for internet browsing.. n great multitasking..

can anybody comment on e63's battery......
or what you say about the below mentioned comments:
"the battery itself feels somewhat loose in the slot – it won’t fall out of the phone, make no mistake about that, but if you simply shake the E63, you’ll hear it rattle inside the battery compartment."
ALSO
can the keyboard be seen in the dark?
are the keys/buttons evenly illuminated/lit throughout
the keyboard?

right now I am Using E51(as Internet Modem) on my Laptop HP 2132TX using BT and the problem is after sometime BT disconnect automatically. Its really boring and time wasting. so I like to know that "Dose the same issue goes with E63?" I am wishing to Buy this one but if the same problem exist with it then have to buy E61i:(

hey bro, you can use the same headfones or earfones, usually we use in mp3 player or pc... I have A4tech earplug ... E63's sound ouput is much higher than other fones, even i compared it with my other fone which is n82 .... I know it sounds strabge but its a damn true thing...
