hi... Im Clifford from PH and a proud owner of nokia E63 for 2 yrs and 5mos. now,,, im so pleased with this one. Good batry back up, good wifi conection, fast and efficient browsing, real multitasking, easy to configure... Decent camera (atleast with flash) and so many third party apps out there,, Overall a dependable phone but ive got question,,, really cant find it,,, how cud i switch off the 3G to 2G.???

cant use my e63 for 30 minuite without charging,how can i get a good battery to buy.

was using whatsapp on my E63 since almost 6 months,but recently when the latest update for whatsapp was done, my phone started working really slow and would become unresponsive after some time.
Imitially i thought that my external memory wa bad,so i formatted that.Then i updated my phone software to latest update,but none of that helped.
Can anyone suggets what could be the solution for the same.

hello n how i u? nokia e63 is my favorite phone but i bought it from new zealand and i want to use it here in my country but it was lock. Sorry can u give me the lock code so i can use the phone to make a call to my dad,family and relatives.

yes nokia e63 have wlan option for this go to
menu > connectivity > wlanwiz.
just click and have fun dear...

1st- to the one who can't use the camera , i don't know if there's a problem in camera Hardware or if it's a software problem that won't let u use the camera , you should try Flashing you phone (if u don't know what that is ,go to a phone repairing shop and ask them they'll know ) or you can re-instal the firmware of your e63 using Ovi app which i think you've already installed on your pc , just connect the phone to the pc and use it in "pc suit" mode , then open ovi store on ur pc and after it shows your phone you can update your phone ,if it says that u have hve the latest firmware just select "reinstall" or something like that, that should make your cam work if it's a software problem :)
2nd-if it says "no gateway reply" that means you have wrong gprs or wifi settings ,if it's gprs just call ur network provider and ask them to send gprs setting for your phone,if it's wifi -you have to enter correct settings mannually :)
3rd -yes Nokia e63 has WIFI , you can even use the phone as a wifi hotspot after you instal "Joikuspot lite" application
And wifi is at
Menu>connectivity>Wifi>
When u click wifi it'll automatically search for wifi connections around u and show you :)

i bought this phone i satified wih the specifications but the camera is not working from the beginning if i open camera it s hanging... what shell i do .. any suggestions.. help me to find it

i've been using this phone more than 2 years by now and my E63's still working perfectly ,it never lets me down ,
First of all if you have an e63 Hack it (u can do it by watching youtube videos ) after that u can do almost anything from this awesome phone
-and if u care about the phone housing ,there are 3 original housing black,blue and red but on ebay they have pink and white housings also , ihave 3 housings blue black and white ,i just love mixing them up ,the phone looks awesome with any housing :D
You can install almost any app u want after u hack
I have more than 60 apps installled on my e63 and still have 60MB ram free ,how cool is that , if no apps are installed it only takes less than 20 seconds for the phone to be turned on and ready to be used but because i have so many apps mine takes about 45seconds to turn on and ready to be used , i don't see that as a problem because of the price of the phone and it's specs , i'm using the phone it 2g mode as i want to save more battery but still the internet is fast,
And if u install python which u can find on mobile9 site u'll find many appps which will help your e63 to peform better than ever like battery savers ,widgets and much more , there's a cool music player called 360player it shows large album art when u play songs and have a mini player which shows ur current playing song with album art on phonehomescreen :) it's really awesome

Nokia e63 is one of the best phones and way better than e71,5800,c6,x6 i've used those but e63 is better than them and a really hardy phone i love this phone very much
