I love E63 so much dat I even bought one for a friend as gift. Receently I observed dat the battery easily runs down and the gets hot unnecessarily. This is unlike Nokia..I dont knw wats wrong or wats going on, so if there is anyone out there who can advice me on wat to do, it will be highly appreciated. I jst hope Nokia is aware of this. In Nigeria were I come from, we dont joke with Nokia phones.

jhk, 15 Mar 2012my e63 kips connecting to the net without my knowledge.it i... moreGo to menu>settings>connection>packet data>packet data connection. Set setting to 'When needed'. Now it will connect only when you require to.

WLAN---ENTER INSIDE WLAN
OPTIONS---REFRESH.
If there is any wireless then only it shows.

If you can't find this option, or are having problems, try reinstalling your firmware by connecting it to your computer. :)

This was once my phone, in this exact colour. It was good and probably the best QWERTY keyboard on phone that I've ever experienced. The build quality is expected from Nokia. However, the software and OS seemed to be outdated by the time it was out. But whatever, it was a budget business/social phone anyway.
