My phone has SW ver 014.002 shown in Ovi suite (latest version).
Is that Anna or? How can I check it in device? THX!

I have purchased this handset 2 days back, this phone is awesome. I have used Iphone 4 and Galaxy S-II but after Anna update this handset has no comparison.
As far as memor card slot is concerned it should be given by Nokia. But never the less company has given " USB ON THE GO " feature through which you can connect any Pen drive. You can keep n numbers of Personal videos and pictures on pen drive and when needed just plug-in.
Camera is Awesome no need for Auto-focus. Due to sliding QWERTY keypad you get full 4" size display to work comfortably.
I dont think there is any handset comparable for business work.
Gaming is excellent. Colour saturation is fantastic.
This is a complete full featured handset the only thing to ignore little bit is Weight.

ive been using dis and till now i think its a really good deal...
The processor of dis mobile is said to be on the slow side BUT ive got all my 16GB's filled up 2795sms and still i dont find any prob. with the speed.
It has got 2 inbuilt drive 1 with 320mb space and other with 16gb space. (AGAIN SAME AS ANYONE USING A 16GB SD.)
Gorilla Display is awesome... watch videos directly in the sun and it seems completely normal.
HD Gaming is gr8.
HD video recording is awesome.
Capturing is a little on downside as compared to N8.(BUT SOMETHING HAS TO GO DOWN FOR THE EXTRA QWERTY KEY PAD)
Home screen is gr8. And screen size is also bigger than the N8.
QWERTY is awesome.
Video playback supports almost every format.
Symbian Anna has got nice changes and speed increase to...
THE LAST WORDS IS THIS IS JUST AN AWESOME SET..! BEST FROM NOKIA TILL NOW IF U R A QWERTY FAN LIKE ME.

Dear readers,
A lot of you are asking on how to update your E7's Symbian^3 into ANNA. Well, if you have bought it directly from Nokia (not from any carriers), you are suposed to get the updates. Again, If you bought it from a country that is not getting the ANNA update yet (like USA) & using it a country other than that (like India), you won't be able to update even if your friends are getting the update.
Now, if you are legible, your phone will update. press *#0000# on your call screen and you will get a new window telling your firmware number (PR1.1 or PR1.2). Press "Option > Check for updates" & wait for the response. If you have never cancelled it before, your phone will be showing update for you. Just press "Download", sit back and wait. Remember, if you have cancelled it earlier anytime, you will get a message: "No updates available". Again, if you have installed Symbian Anna cracked from outsource (other than Nokia), then your Motherboard (also known as chipset) will reject the update.
After your phone downloads the software, you will be asked to Install it "Now" or "Later". You better choose "Now" as you have waited so long for the update. Then again, sit back and wait.
After a couple of minutes more, your phone will restart, install new OS & start the phone.
Now, my Nokia N8 asked me to install 4 more updates (2 ANNA updates [Required & Important], 1 OviStore updates [Optional], 1 Social updates [Optional]) right after I got ANNA installed. My guess is that N8 has smaller ROM than E7 (256MB against 512MB), so it needed to divide the updates. It might not happen in your case. But, if it happens, let it go through the update.
That's how you update from Symbian^3 to Symbian Anna.

but it has a very good hardware.

i have nokia e7 i bought in the month of march for rs. 27250 . It have so many good features .you say about memory card slot . But it have no memory slot but For a phone inbulit 16 gb in very big , but if you have to slot then you connect pen drive up to 16gb through usb otg. 2nd thing- camera quailty its
camera quality is best i advise you to buy it. 3rd thing- hd gaming and hd video recording you can download free hd games from 'e7fanclub.com' and play on e7 and its gaming quailty is touch and feel also you record hd video through its 8.1 mega pixel camera . After all things i advise you to buy it !!!

symbian anna puts e7 on the map... can't wait for belle. what a lovely threesome it would be . lol. but seriously guys. do not rush into comparing e7 with other phones with ios and androids,this one has a different class most especially for people who still are symbian loyalists. its like comparing mbenz with an amartin both are great just depends on the user which he prefers most.
