this is good set with soft key pad but it hangs some time and while I call it get off by itself
its annoying and no skype video chat :( nokia must resolve with skype I didnt knw this before or I woulden't hv bought nokia :( nw cant exchange ma set am sad .how can I video chat on E7 which application to use ??????????????????? plz tell fast .

I was going to buy the new nokia e7 but when i read the specs on the phone it actually put me off i do own the nokia n8 which has a 12mp camera zenon flash & supports micro sd card up tp 32gig where as the e7 does not support memory card at all which i find strange as most phones these days memory card slots seem to be standard.
I feel if i bought the nokia e7 i would be actually down grading my phone no disrespect to nokia as i will only use a nokia mobile i have had other mobile phones in the past but feel that nokia mobiles are more reliable & ive had no issues with a nokia mobile phone & this is the main reason why i will always stick with nokia.
Also the nokia e7 looks very similar to the n8 which is a good point & the e7 actually slides which reveals a qwerty keyboard underneath if you look at the nokia e7 when the keybord is on display the phone looks quite similar to an apple macbook whish does make the phone look stylish.
I suppose not every nokia phone is going to be for me but feel they should have put a memory card slot into the nokia e7 this phone is not for me but it is a very nice stylish piece of kit.

Nokia is going through lows these days. But I do remember those days when each and every launch of a business gadget from Nokia used to be cheered and people used to que in thousands to get those gadgets and be one of the very first to own them. Talk of E90, E71, N73, N82, N95 and the list goes on. Who could forget Nokia E70. Nokia made a 352 x 416 resolution in just 2.1" screen and above that it was a 16 million effective colour mode. WOW, thats technology and till date no other company have dared to do that. I hope Nokia would get back the brains and focus on technology rather than flowing with Chinese tactics of plastic toys and cutting edges to bring the production cost down. Technology Companies are conquering new cliffs every day and Nokia is just climbing down at speed. We just pray for Nokia to bring us beautifull gadgets in the way they used to do about 7 or more years ago. Lets hope Nokia will rule again.

2009: N900 launched, best Nokia ever
2010: N900 still the only good Nokia
2011: N900 still the only good Nokia
E7 doesnt even match the specs of N97. So why would anyone buy E7? I have no idea, but FANBOYS dont care do they?

business phone my asX my n97mini has email in it am using without any stress if htc or samsung come out with keyboard phone and nice features am going for that

The nokia N8 had ... moreWell, i have no idea where that fact of yours come from, but i'd agree on quality control problem, but not as mush as you think. You have to thank the communists for this. Not just Nokia, even iPhone4 had problems, at least for my country's batch- they come from China. My other nokia budget phone, which the serial code reveals it is a Korean one, never had issues, but China ones will always have problem. F*** China, really...

I am another happy bunny after buying E7.It is great for what i need and as someone said earlier is just better than E90.
I do have a dissappointment and that is its NOT AN e90 that i wished for.Nokia say its the replacement for E90 but i wanted a clamshell and auto-focus but well here have the next best thing.

Forgot to mention, that 5% only applies to the first batch of N8s which some of them had a problematic electronic part. The issue has been identified and newer units don't have that problem.

and where did you get this information? Link to the source, because as far as I know it's just 5%.
