It feels very solid. Design is so cool.

guys, please can any one help to take a decision between nokia E7 & samsung galaxy S? since i've been hearing many bad reviews about the E7 r they true? is the touch screen fast? is the android really better than the symbian? what about the battery life of the E7, plz guys give me an honest answer, i rly need ur help, thank u all, regards

somebody right here about or compare e7 and htc dezire z but i dont know y because in the htc there is 3g but there is on front camera so that how we can compare this two phone so and i dont know y htc there no front cam most of it how we call video call ok and i want know about the e7 . we can c the web videos like cricket or foodball in web it needs adobe player that type videos plz reply thank u

Symbion may not be "modern" compared to others but it serves the purpose well. And it is strong at the core phone features like efficient usage of memory, cpu, battery etc,.
It may not be good to show off some funky apps but thats not priority of section of the smart phone users.

(sigh) no expandable card slot.. i guess my N8 is much better than this, except the qwerty keys when slide.. ^_^.

The phone really feels solid in hand. the screen is simply superb. it offsets the lack of resolution with crisp display and colors, it works flawlessly even in sunlight. the keyboard is rock solid. the built in memory is really fast - transferring large files is a breeze. It can play divx, mp4, mkv and everything else! awesome phone. lots of apps available too these days - but it could be better. coming from a symbian, i did not feel the usability a challenge. though there's room for improvement, since the competition is hot.
I'm thoroughly impressed. the phone feels a bit slippery and the ovi store crashes sometimes. others are mostly app related niggles.
all in all, this is a wonderful phone - if the price drops a bit - I'd even say it would beat all those competitors compared here.

of both the phones which would u go for e7 or n8, i am looking more on reliability ie the phone doesn't crash and stuff....
you have been using both the phones so u could give me a much better insight about them.

Only 360x640 on a big 4 inch screen makes this phone overpriced and irrelevant, do not waste your money on this outdated Symbian when you can get a modern Android, HTC Desire Z or soon SonyEricsson Pro, for a lot less money!

Nokia should think about the OS it has in its smartphones...If it would have been with Android..would have been better..plus the RAM that they are offering in such a big price tag is really not worth it.!!!

i think nokia should throught symbian and take in bada,android or windows.nokia makes good mobiles but all of them has defects,nokia should improve their quality or less every body will be ........... on it! I have n97 mini but hangs evey time and it runs out of battery with in less than a day.Nokia is pissing me off! My advice to leave nokia and others,most of people are unhappy with nokia!

Almost similar specificstions as nokia's c7 which worths rs app. 17 k. E7 for 30k and that is to have a full qwerty keaboard, sounds quite silly. Even camera is same as c7 8 mp fixed focus with led flash. Bad idea to buy. Go for n8 if thinking nokia. I have c7 its really good smartphone..

its a nice to have..the build quality is very much superior to those like samsung,htc etc., as they give cheap plastic feel..good keypad yet lacks in camera the auto focus but not a big deal. the touch screen is very good and the sound quality is impressive both in loudspeaker and headphones..alll in all nice gadget to have in 28,500 INR..

The is a free 1200 rs worth bluetooth set offered with Nokia. Vodafone has a 6 months 2 gb GPRS connection free with E7. That GPRS for 6 months is worth 5k. Sort of compensates for the high price.

it's so expensive you can get 2 handsets with such price withe a great specifications like 4 example the HTC desire and don't forget about the Symbian ,Nokia should really think more before setting such device price into the market
