fixed focus 8MP camera? -.-!!
and the price range is so out this world?
i've waited forever for updates for my N900 and Nokia launch another White Elephant...
If this phone was a 7in screen phone...that would be nice!! ^^

Nice phone but poor battery its 1200MHz,
speed quit slow at 680mhz processor,
video record at 720p only,,,,
no card slot
battery is not replaceable..
fixed-focus camera
price range in india 31500rs.. at booking :(:(:( very very high...
N8 is better than E7 .....

I held this phone yesterday, and feel its a shame about the OS, as hardware wise, this is one helluva sexy mobile. Beautiful finish all round. This with WP7 would probably be a very compelling phone.

Nowadays all the high end models hangs frequently hopefuly in this model nokia had over come this problem. i think in this model also Touch accuracy is not so good otherwise nokia wont provide qwerty key board for this model...

well i have almost made up my mind for E7...but i'll wait for some time till its price comes down a bit...price is bit[okkk...wayyy high !!! ;-)] ri8 now...
i am also considring samsung galaxy tab too...and rest of the choicess are prtty much the same as i've mentioned b4 !!! "the upcoming android monsters" from SE and samsung !!!

Well, N900 is a good phone but sadly Nokia stopped it before Maemoo can compete with other OS. I think E7 just a marketing strategies, so that nokia can sell more Nokia phones based on Symbian OS. For sure Nokia have their own reasons why do we have to argue just wait and see how far Nokia can survive all the pressured around them. So up to you all if you like symbian OS very much so go ahead and buy E7, as long as you have a lot of $$$$ in your pocket. For me N900 is the best hp, hopely it will suit with Meego Applications.

I disagree with those who keep saying Symbian is bad. Actually Nokia is the leader in mobile phone wherever you go you will find Nokia mobiles and shops.
Everyone knows how to deal with it from first time, and you will find support everywhere you go.
Symbian means Nokia, I disagree to go for WM7 or any operating system, I strongly agree to work on Symbian and make it better and better. This will keep Nokia reputation above the sky, because it will reflects how power they are and how smart they should.
Please Nokia, stay with Symbian, and work on it to make it better than Android and IOS.

I just checked NokiaUSA.com. I saw the pre-order for the E7. (I pre-ordered the N8...)
$679.00
Nokia, are you kidding me? This is insulting!!!!!
You should cut the price by 50% !
I would not touch this device with a 10 foot pole after what Nokia has pulled lately with Microsoft!

Symbian is very bad. i think Nokia should find a solution for the Nokia lovers. i have a Nokia N8 device and it keeps on freezing. i think Nokia should strike a deal with android but the Nokia OS should be very different from the usual android OS. Nokia should call theirs android pro.
