i really don't understand why nokia makes symbian devices i was very happy that i've bought symbian device but now i'm really disappointed about this my phone restart itself again and again i've to give it back to the shop from where i've bought this s60 5th mobile but now what can i do? i can't change my mobile OS.. but i totally hate symbian please nokia try to understand i love you but i have you also.. My feelings about you are so strange..!

think u better to buy n8 than e7 cause n8 giving more feature than e7 and the cause to buy e7 that is quarty keyboard which is very faltu and there is Rs.11000 more to pay for it and u get 8mp camera in n8 it is 12mp . Believe guys keypad is just bad.

if nokia want to exist on earth they must make phone that surpass the iphone 4 with better hardware software appmarket material OS and lower price..possible or impossible ? at least one of the nokia men will hear me thanks gsmarena to posting my opinion

i just bought it yesterday as a gift to my father, he's been using Nokia communicators family since years ago. i got a problems when i want to sync my dad's nokia E90 contacts and messages to this nokia E7, i turn the bluetooth on, and try to sync with it's nokia sync app, but it not works. any suggestion?

Guys don go for this phone pls... And iPhone 4.0 is far better than this... Display is a low resol and need to charge the battery after 6 hrs for sure even for a minimal usage... I ll never recommend this phone. Beware.....

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2010it should've a secondary camera,what a mess! E7 is N8 with ... morenot the same camera is 8MP (N8 is 12 MP), Heavier than N8, no memory card, Bigger and expensive. If its just for the keyboard i'll stick to my N8

E7 is a phone looks attractive outer design, the ie.keyboard suggest that this device is a computer.
Unfortunately, these days, Nokia has become Exploits the addiction of some markets such as India and the Arab world to their products to achieve high-sales phones but they doesn't produce a really good phone.

Although they will still come out with Symbian phones in the short term, none of these will be high end phones. The high end phones initially will be the Windows Phone phones. Nokia will also be allowed to customize WP to make lower end phones. As this happens, Symbian will be squeezed out of the low end and eventually disappear.
MeeGo is not going to be a main stream OS. Its role is similar to Maemo. The reported N950 running MeeGo will be the next generation of the N900 running Maemo. Nokia has no plans for a major line of phones running MeeGo. It is going to be more of an R&D product than a general release product.

Every mobile OS has a 2-5 year life span, then it is up to new hardware advancement.

joelpogi, 03 Mar 2011i do not beleive that nokia will scrap symbian as they have... moreWhere have you been when the Nokia CEO announced the partnership with Microsoft and said that they are abandoning Symbian except for the S40 which will be kept alive for their low end phones? S^3 has a definite shelf life. They even said that it will receive "short term" investments meaning they are planning to abandon it by next year. If you plan to keep your phone for at least more than a year then it is not advisable to get a phone with an OS that will soon be abandoned. Oh, Meego was put aside by Nokia as an experimental OS and will most likely suffer the same fate as the N900.
Open your eyes and research about it on the net. You will see tons of articles about Nokia scrapping S^3 and make the call. Developers felt betrayed and they are mad about it. S^3 is a dead OS walking. Even GSMarena thinks it's not a great time to buy a phone with a soon to be scrapped OS on their review of this phone.
