this phone is expensive and it;s shith the same as the n8 they are very slow and only 256 ram???this its a joke??? you open 3 pages and the phone get's froze

The price makes no sense even for targeting corporates. This is similar to an N8 with a slide qwerty attached and the difference between these 2 is approx $300 !!??

im a nokia fan, it seem a good upgrade to my n97 mini but the screen is 640x360 on a 4inch screen... personally i think 640x360 resolution is best for 3.2inch screen (like on my n97 mini). i think i'll pass for now and wait if there's really an n9 or n950, still depends on the design...

Android apps can be configured to not automatically access the network if you do not want them to. It's all up to the app. Symbian apps would have similar configuration settings.
The E7 and N8 have rather different features that various Android phones. In fact, if you look at a variety of phones, you will find that one phone has some features better than another, but this other phone has some features better than the first.
When choosing a phone, you will find that it is unlikely that you would be able to find a phone that has all the features you want. It's always a trade off between some good features of one phone with some liabilities and different good features of a second phone with other liabilities. Generally, you have some basic requirements and some nice to haves as well as a budget. Right now, there is no phone that has all of the features that I want exactly at a price I want. It's a matter of finding something that fits the best for you.
Back when the E7 was announced, I pretty well shortlisted my options between the E7 and the Desire Z. These phones were announce within a day of each other. They have the form factor that I like. Considering the price of the E7, it is just too much for too little for me. I know it has a lot of features, but some or not ones I am interested in and do not want to pay that premium for it.

[deleted post]Its good that you and me are singing Symbian in a symbian phone forum. Unlike most trolls that just can't keep still untill they brag about their awesome purchase in every other place. How in the world can a sane human even compare a x10mini pro with something like an n8?. 240x320 resolution of x10mini is proof enough that android doesn't even run properly in it. No matter how smooth the UI be, i simply can't stand a screen resolution less than nHD. Android is not bad at all. Infact its much better than symbian in almost all genre but this would have been true for s60v5 not symbian^3. Symbian3 has every potential to show and run similar apps as android. Its just that the developers isn't giving much. And the fact that symbian has the toughest security of all OS, is worth noting. You simply can't use android without having unlimited internet, cause it just keeps connecting to net without the user's permission.
Btw, it would be kind of the android guys here to tell me if i can get an android device at the price of e7 or n8, having similar but no less features than the already available. That might change my mind a bit.

I have to give Nokia credits or their great ability when it comes to $ûcking. Unfortunately $ûcking is unsuited for making babies, that explains why Nokia hasnt released anything good since 2009 (N900)

BUt i agree with you also, dont bring X10 Mini into this, X10 Mini Pro is a great phone and does not deserve to be dragged into the dirt together with useless symbian units like E7.

Android cant be compared to Symbian. Android is much more advanced than Symbian.
Hope in future Nokia will come up with some thing great & makes us really amazed.
