Why do so many people want Android on this phone??
Don't you get that if you put Android on it, that it will lag like no other with it's poor 680MHz processor. That processor might be good enough for Symbian^3 but for Android, no way!

Nokia invest bigtime making these new promos with animations and cool music but THEY should also invest same/more amount for Designing the actual phone, quality check.
Check the phone and test it inside out before you release it. Its not a horse race. Get one device without any glitch for god sake.

how much is the difference between their prices?
is it too much as I heard?
Cause I really like E7 but I just can't wait anymore!

i have this phone for more than 1 year .. this phone is a crap dont even think to go for this .. major hanging problems... but still no hardware problems... sound is too bad .... and about camera this is worst.. there is a flash but still a crap. pictures and video rec are the worst i have experienced ........ just for looks and battery life this phone is good otherwise crap .internet browsing is also too bad..... but i still love this phone because if equaliser is set to manual and if first two bars adjusted at topmost and rest downmost then sound from speakers become low but sound come with bass .... i use this option in night while sleeping... good battery life ... poor performance

HTC phones are expensive, because of their GOOD quality. The HTC HD is not a really cool device I know, but now HTC is different. Now they make the most of their phones with LED flash for example. They have the SLCD technology from Sony. Now HTC is good at making camera phones too. They are the BEST in terms of Ram. They have more big screen phones as well. :)

Any phone will be an improvement over the N97. I used to use one and finally had enough. I was considering the E7 to replace my N97. I finally just had enough of the N97 and ended up getting the HTC Desire Z (partly because I got tired of waiting for the E7). I'm very happy with the Desire Z.
If you want to stay with Nokia and can hold on (and have more patience than I), I'd suggest you check out the E7. It's probably going to be very similar to the latest Symbian^3 devices that have been released this fall, only with a physical QWERTY keyboard. You can check the reviews of those phones to get a good idea of what the E7 is like.
One thing I heard is that the browser on the E7 is supposed to be better than the N8 browser. I'm not sure how reliable this information is because I heard the update to the Nokia browser for the N8 and other S^3 phones will not be ready until February next year. I'm not sure how the E7 fits in with all this information. Things probably will change over time anyway. The browser on the N8 did not appear to be as good as other browsers on other phones. That is another part of the reason I went with the Desire Z.

Although its ROM space is higher, i'll preferably stick 2 my N8 considering its 12MP camera. I think the both are even similar to each other. I luv dis fone but i prefer 2 go with my cherished N8.

Do you think I should order a ... morehi man..i am also using N97.after updating v22 my phone hangs a lot..,espically when attend a call,the unlock option will freeze & the screen wont respond,like the phone hung it self.this is major problem in this version.but in N97 there s a solution for hanging,The applications actually do not close when you close them.They would also not appear in 'show open apps' menu.They still eat up the RAM.You need to close/kill them using System Status.After closing all the apps the available memory reaches [43MB] as against [12MB] before.so our N97 rocks man.now i am eagerly waiting for E-7,already my cousin bought this E7 and using.its awesome go for it..:)AM SURE ITS GONNA ENTERTAIN U MORE THAN N97..

N 97, is a phone which had problems, but the new one will not have any issues, if you need the same functions of n97, then i recommand you to go for N8, as e7 is a busisness phone and n8 is the one you are looknig for.
