Why is the screen res just 360 into 48 whe,Samsung and Apple r producing much sharper res in smaller screens....it shud b in excess of 300 pixels/inch.

I've got an iPhone 3GS and seriously, I absolutely do not need more pixels on the screen, nor do I need a bigger screen. I'm a freelance photographer and a serieus pixelpeeper so this must mean something coming from me.
Bigger screens and more pixels are just a disadvantage at some point. Sure more pixels is better for a crispy picture but at some point, there's a limit to its use. the more pixels you have, the harder your phone needs to work and the more it sucks out of your battery. Having a huge screen only makes matters worse then
so my opinion: 3.5" and 640x360 is really moooore than enough and even more than I need, and frankly, no one will ever miss the "retina" like pixeldensity, that is unless they see it in numbers on paper and realise they can show off with it when they buy the phone

c7,e7 and c601 will lift up nokia these days.. clearblack screen is better than retina.

The device looks great! On N9 please lose the keyboard, add a kickstand like on n900 and stick with this design, and it should be in a world top 3 sellers range.

Its smaller screen also means that you have to be closer to it to see anything. The E7, with its colossal screen can be placed about 50cm from your eye and you can still read it.And, does the E7 have antenna problems?

Nokia E7 fianl release will have memory card. It is evident buy Nokia comment here http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/devices/nokia-e7-00/business-benefits check under security, Nokia said 'Keep important work files safe with secure memory card encryption'

ah, c'mon man.. the iphone 4 has 640*960 screen and this one is weaker. they have to make a contender for iphone 4.

What is wrong with 640x360 on a 4 inch screen? Computers resolutions are so low because they are meant to be kept far away from our eyes due to the large screen? In fact, even a HD2 would be fine due to its humongous screen.This is a mini laptop, much more powerful than your rubbish iPhones and WinMo's. I bet most of you havent even ever peeked to look at your pixel density. And if you didnt get what I just said, look at the 3GS. A 3.5 inch screen with 480x320 resolution. The pixels arent pixels, theyre boxes.
