Works best with Delight custom firmware.
Only two bugs I have found is if you 'copy' text (e.g. from browser window) and then open the phone app, it will restart. Not really a problem as long as you remember this.
The other one is If you are a heavy txter, the phone will get sluggish once you have a few thousand msgs in your in/sent box. No problem so far with WhatsApp though (which all the kids are using now!).
No memory card slot, but it does USB host mode. I have a USB key with micro USB connector on it, otherwise I just fill the phone with mp3s. It does also play movies very well on the black OLED screen.
N8fanclub has almost everything you want, as far as apps go, and Opera Mini works very well. Opera Mobile is ok but tends to run out of memory.
You can get facebook, WhatsApp, SIC ftp, Camera Pro, HDR Camera. cuteTube2 for youtube (v. good), Musix (great music player), Shazam and a ton of other apps.
eZSpot is a good app to set up a wifi hotspot. (Works just as well tethered via cable or bluetooth).
The only minor let-down is the camera being fixed-focus, but if you don't need a qwerty keyboard, then the N8 is basically the same phone with an auto-focus camera (plus FM transmitter).
Yep, I'm gonna be stuck in 2010 for a little while longer :)

Mine works very hard every day on emails and battery still holds for three day's. Great unit, it works for you, not opposite (Like Fruit brand and Android, Chineese pieces's of art..... ) it was The Last Business phone man known....
