U can go to the nokia discussions page n check this problem, as all users often complain.... I had a pre loaded anna device so didnt need to upgrade....

wifi off + bluetooth off + GPS and 3g off + reduced backlight = batt lasted 3 days & phone off = batt lasted 2 years. how's that, huh! come on guys! why on earth the phone heated up or lessen its battery because you got almost everything on + music on + camera on + voice recorder on + 'listening to the right ear' on + 'talking under the midday sun' on = batt still lasted but you will not last! aka you know how phone exploded? read the manual man!

AnonD-29633, 26 Jan 2012no...kato is somewhat wrong! ive been using this E7 for 6 m... moredude, i am not a very hardcore phone user... my use is medium.... i do close apps when i dont use them.... i do everything which is required to conserve battery but still it lasts not more than 36 hours even on 2g.... You tell me that your phone battery lasts for 3 days with a single charge.... its hard to believe that....

AnonD-22214, 26 Jan 2012Nokia is looking down the barrel with time.... they are onl... moreno...kato is somewhat wrong! ive been using this E7 for 6 months and is quite impressive i have no such problem at all especially the battery.. it runs 3 days for me and is not bad and to extend batt life you should turn it off apps when not in use this would help..and it depends on how you use the phone!

Kato, 26 Jan 2012....what the heavens is with this phone? the software updat... moreNokia is looking down the barrel with time.... they are only concerned with windows phones which i guess wouldnt do much good for their reputation or company profits.... dont know how mindless a company can be as they cant provide a reasonable powered battery for this phone.... i doubt whether they will come out with battery enhancing update for the E7 as the users of this phone are complaining since months & the company has responded nothing over this matter.... i am sure this is my last nokia device....

....what the heavens is with this phone? the software update makes the device worse on battery. To have a 1200mAh, irreplaceable battery on a business phone is a joke. can someone tell these people to give an update which improves the battery?

The only negative i'd point out for E7 is the battery life, the maximum i could get was for about 36 hours. Battery life of 3 days for E7 is quite hard to belive, since i've been using it now for 9 months. Do suggest some tips if its possible.

nokia e7 is a great phone, Runs smooth, loads fast, internet fantastic, I upgraded mine and got even more speed and smother operation, generally, its a great phone. all u need do is configure ur internet access with ip address and proxy port for proper internet access, also remember to turn widget to online mode before installing symbian anna upgrade, enjoy.

I think this is the best thing since swiss cheese. This phone is so user freindly and accessable well done Nokia.
