i've lost my e71 to a drive-by snatcher. and damn, i do love my unit. d best i ever had. what's worst is they say nokia has pulled-out units and i can't find any store selling them. damn.. damn.. damn! where could i find one?

Its mentioned that it works for 10 h for talk time but my mobile battery is getting exhaushted very early- I think it work only for 3 hours max for me.

I have the White Steel version and it's amazing. Clearly the best Nokia phone to date and best overall phone of all the brands.

My brother bought it in the USA for me (in India). Its an excellent piece. But at times during incoming calls, the name of the caller is missing. The FM also dont work.

Each time i want to install a sisx file my phone always acts as if it wants to install the application and then displays file corrupted even though that particular file is being used in another Nokia E71 or E63. Pls everyone help me out. What should i do?

I have used this phone now for about 1 year now and find it works extremly well.
It is connected to Telstra Next G in Australia and streams You tube almost instantaneously.
Foxtel is brilliant on it.
Battery needs to be charged every 2 days with moderate to high use but as expected when tethered to my laptop it decreases substantially.
Only problem i have experienced is that gmail drops out about 2 - 3 times daily but not sure if its a network or phone problem, no problems starting up again though (power down not necessary).
Phonebook syncs up with Parrot Carkit OK
Things I miss having:- (features present in past Nokia's)
* LED flash doesnt functions a flashlight
* USB cable does not charge the phone
* Only 1 snooze button, any other button cancels alarm. I have run late so many times because of this. My previous Nokias had 1 alarm cancel button and any other button pressed is snooze.
* Cant set profiles to time out to default when changed (feature of 8310). Good for Meetings and sleep etc.

Yes check at Game stores i still see them advertising the phone. Last time i checked the price was ZAR 2000 i paid ZAR 2500. i bought mine there last September.

E71 it's a good phone; it's handy, cam is good,sound quality is better; but I want to know why price is so high? If price is little bit reasonable in south Asia it's gonna be awesome; the phone captured the market and bit the others brand!!!
