Mostly of businessman when get stressed they throw out their phones, that's why you find build quality of E71 is sturdy. Some office applications like quickoffice premier come out of box, mean you don't need to pay extra cash (IBM Lotus Traveller come in latest firmware). E series like E71 has 2 homescreen (switch mode) that you can put shortcuts on both homescreen. Also you find good battery life on E71 (business traveller don't need to charge often). Typing experience is also better. Besides qwerty, you also fasten your typing with predictive text on (non qwerty E series also come with this predictive, even FP2 you can set up primary and secondary language text input).

now i have a new problem: i lost all my contacts stored in my sim card. how the hell this happened? is this a matter of my setting? i tried to look for them but they're not here. huhhhh..

I get wifi connection and just updated to firmware V.500. it toke 30 minutes to download 125 MB something the firmware.

everybody says e71&e72 both are BUSINESS mobile...,
i don't know why they told like this...,
we can do messaging,emailing and chatting and viewing Ms ofice and pdf(editing only new here) with this mobile ok but even all nokia symbian mobile has these all features(exept editing ms&pdf) using external sotwares...,
even we can chat(im) with 6600,7610,n70...,(all sybian mobiles) using slick and nimbuzz...,
we can check emails with profile mail software with these symbiam mobiles..,
only here keypad and screen size differ from other all mobiles..,
so please say why all are calling thise e71&e72 as a
BUSINESS mobile???
please say exact meaning of this mobile's name(BUSINESS mobile) with strong reason...,
am waiting for you valuable reply ok than you all here...,

Congrats for getting back on track. At long last. Just remember that when you update on the internet only a few files are replaced, while when Nokia Care does it the entire firmware is rewritten. And it eliminates the viruses too.
As regards the Apps. Load the following to make the most of your E71:
1. An Anti Virus, Fsecure or Kaspersky
2. OVI and Google maps.
3. Qik to upload your videos to the social sites.
4. Fring or Nimbuzz
5. Any other app that you feel you would need to run your life better.
And do keep in touch. We all need one another's help.
I may not be on this forum soon as I am switching over to an iPhone (being donated to me by my son).

[deleted post]go for e71 if you need to have a business device...coz best cost based product..way better in design n feature than e72....
if you need a multimedia device then cud go for 5800..

using e71 for last 7 days..battery backup is not good...losing its charge quite early....also can anybody tell me how can play any audio or video from real player??

Now for the apps to be installed.
1 OVI and Google maps.
2 Skyfire browser.
3 Qik
4 Nimbuzz or Fring
5 And whatever your interests lead you to. Get everything from either OVI Store or from www.getjar.com.
AND FIRST OF ALL AN ANTI VIRUS. Fsecure or Kasperskyand do keep in touch.

i have nokia care reinstall the firmware (not the latest one) and now its coming back! im making a fresh start. may i have your recommendation again on what applications to install. thank you for the many help my friend.
