I'm getting no problem using my wlan. I don't know why are you getting this problem. After the firmware update I just lost some of my software installed but I reinstalled them. That's all the problem I've had. Have you tried your wifi settings?

i still dont have wifi connection. i should not have my firmware updated. stupid nokia firmware update. i already lost my patience. i think it would be best not to update the firmware to avoid problems. why did nokia come up with this update!

by looks.....in my opinion i hv used both sets
e71===100%.
e72===97% not so attractive.
by performance...
e71==100%
e72==95% hang some times.
by camera result...
e71,and e72 both have average by its 3.2 or 5 mp camera.
by built quality...
e71===101% so eye catchy so stylish and smooth.
e72==93%.
by reception...
e71===101% its soo good mind blowing.
e72 also 101% also good.
by battery backup...
e71==100%
e72=as compare e71 its 93%
by user friendly using device...
e71==100%
e72==95%.
im so disappoint nokia made e71 best of the best in every dipartment in cell phone but e72 lacks and hang so irritated im using my old e71.its so nice so elegant so flashy.i hv in white color.

dear no doubt e71 is rocks the world.its really great but todays more cell comes in black and grey.but ihv white e71 and its looks nicer so plz go for e71 white color.thnks.

last week i swap my psp3001 for a second hand e71, on that day i'm very happy because the phone i want to have is now on my hand, this is the first time i use an E series nokia fone. I already read the use's guide book but haven't use the other applicaions, maybe i could use it in the process. For now i'm very happy for having this e71, and maybe i can use this fone more co'z i'm an office worker. Tnx to nokia team for creating this wonderful gadget.

after trying out the Nokia E72, I think nokia pushing many hardware features such as compass, accelerometer, 600mhz processor, optical trackpad, 5mp camera, etc. in E72 but missed one of the points, that is how to make all that features have a stable work. so I will stay with my E71

You can't do it if you buy brand new one (it's sealed). You get cheaper price too. But if you don't like used one, just buy to authorized seller and make user it has warranty.
