Your problem may be solved if you try to open your audio file using Music player rather than Real Player. Using Real Player you can run your video files.

I purchased the my E71 from Aundh, Nokia priority store at Pune.
I have downloaded almost all free aps from Ovi.com of Nokia. also I have downloaded google map it is working fine rather than Nokia map!! I have also downloaded many songs from Ovi music using Nokia voucher (25 tracks free download).
But I faced one problem I dont know how to solve it:
The day after purchasing the E71 I went to Nokia care to update Ovi map. They tried but finally started downloading Ovi map 3.0 that I knew that it is for E72; but they did not listen. Naturally after installing the Ovi map 3.0 my E71 was not able to open the Ovi map also.Whole day they tried but failed. Then I told them to restore the earlier setting of software. They did it and my phone starting working. Nokia map (earlier version Ovimap2.0) started working fine. But the 3 months initial license was failed after doing all these..Now the GPS Navigation 3 months licence is not working!!! When I was trying to navigate it is asking to purchse to get the licence!! What to do ??? Though I have installed Google map it is working fine. But I am missing voice navigation of Nokia map (though using Nokia map I can see my position).. Any suggestion, please...please..

Bothe the phones (actually you can say PDA) are very good-E71 and E63. Yes I purchased E71 Steel Grey and my friend purchased E63 black. Both the phones are working fantastically. The difference between these two phones:
Outer features
E71 made of steel, sleek
E63 made of fibre, slightly thicker
Others (not technical)
E63 has 3.5 mm headphone point (you can use any standard headphone to connect) whereas E71 has 2.5 mm headphone.
E71 has GPS receiver. You can get your position without using GPRS with Nokia map. Though Nokia map is not as good as Google map. so I installed Google map and it is working fine.
In case of E63 there is no GPS receiver but you can get your present location detail using your GPRS connection. Here also you can download google map.
Both phones music players are very good.
Now-a-days Nokia E-series is coming with 2 years warranty (1 year extended). This is available only from Nokia outlet only.

Its has the very best quality, bt the media player is nufin to wrt home about, the rest of the functn are charming.

I have bought Nokia E71 few days back. I have copied some songs using datacable but i m not able to play that songs in real player. whenever i m trying to play it using real player, it shows no data. can any1 plz help me regarding this?????

hello all...
Pls i am having a little problem with my E71 which i still cant resolve....
I noticed that i'm unable to download any file with .sis or .sisx format.... Wat could be the cause??? Anyone pls help me by mailing me at longarcon@gmail.com .Thanks in advance

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970My e71 came with firmware V.300 (available current firmware is v400) out of the box and never had firmware issue even i don't update to recent firmware. I can say that e71 has no software problem issue

Gtalk is not for mobile it is isn exe format and e71 not supports exe format
E71 supports symbian format and java
You can use nimbuzz instead of gtalk it works as a messenger.

But if you are running very many programs simultaneously, then the RAM would fall short and the phone would hang. So, one would have to strike a compromise.

Firs... moreA bit correction. Install your apps into phone memory rather than memory card as it makes your phone stable and faster. First time i got e71 i had problem because of apps instalation in memory card. My e71 ran slow and required to be restated. Finally i hard reset my e71 and uninstall all apps in memory card.
Till now my phone very stable and fast. Even i don't update to firmware V400. I you take a look to Mike Macias' blog, he suggests the same way for installing apps. Ok gud luck and cheers.

Which is the better ... moreif you need more for e-mail, probably you shd go for BB as it open e-mail at a much faster speed and download attachment v faster. Nokia E71 is a very user friendly hp and very reliable , very attractive finishing too. The choice is yours.
