just got my E71 last month. looks-wise, it's really sleek & stylish. though i wish the keys were bigger but i guess after awhile you get used to it. text-wise, again gotta get used to it. I noticed that in the inbox if i get a msg frm unknown number, even if i save the same number & assign a name to it the number would still show & not the name. Only after i get a msg frm the saved number would the name show. No emoticons as well. why did nokia omit that here?? Surf-wise, ok! Fast, whether thru wifi or network surf. Though you could only surf one window at a time, unless it pops up another window for you. I am still learning how to edit/copy text frm when on a site-if it is even possible. I noticed as well that it can't play wmv or mp4 files (choosy on certain 3gp files) even if the manual says so??? Mp3 player is ok. U can just type the first letter of song to choose frm the list but i wish the speaker was louder/better-can't have everything i guess hehehe. the office applications are fine. Overall i thinl this phone is ok. That's just my opinion. i am still learning stuff along the way.

I have a question does the phone take two sim cards and if so does it give you an option which sim card to make a call from?
I will highly highly apreciate any feedback.

hello... I baught this phone last Feb. 10, I like this phone. I think this is the best phone that I have. But the problem is..the mp4 is very very poor. Why is it when I play video in (real player) the sounds of the video is not clear? why is it? Any idea here...

E71 is one of the best, friendly, impressive and easy to use phone, I bought it 15 times periodically, by changing colors. However, in between I switched to Blackberry top models but not satisfied as they were not very friendly. Now Im planing to buy E72 in black color but I heard there is a email bug which Nokia will remove, shortly.

I have found the Nokia E71 to be a very good phone. It has its software bug like when unlocking the keypad it takes long time sometimes to do that. When trying to unlock the screen is very dark. I love the keypad. I am only sorry it was not touch screen.

i've been reading the reviews and opinions of this phone for some time and judging from them, i've decided to have one this april first week. hope i wont be disappointed. i welcome someone (preferably, from the philippines) to tell me honest observations of his/her nokia e71. certainly appreciate it.

hahaha..u all were such a joke..know y?coz,this time when u all use this fone u say such a nice thing to define about this gadget..u simply promote others to buy n so on..coz at this moment,u love this fone so much n everything bout it is so fine until u cant resist it all..but,when the time is coming when u faced difficulties in this device or maybe u dont like it anymore coz u found something better than this or u hv bought urselves a brand new fone which is more superb than this,then u will give a bad comment n tell others not to buy it..this is ridiculous u know..so,dont never feel too much about u felt right now,coz in future u dont know a thing can be happened..so,dont expect too much from this fone..APPLE & BB rules!!

it is very nice excellent fantastic favolous mobile.i used it 2 months.but on/off switch has damaged.but i shall buy this set in 1 week.

So what would you... moreE71 is wisest choice. The build quality is outstanding and it has superb battery life. Plus organizer is very good. Lots of native applications you can install on this symbian phone.
E72 still has many bugs and its build quality is not as good as E71. I've tried my friend's BB Bold and not impressed about its build quality.
E71 price is cheapest among the three ones. Mine has firmware v.300 and has no reason to upgrade my firmware as my E71 is very stable and fast. Also, Quickoffice is upgradable to version 6.2
PS. Install applications in your phone memory.

Same problem is in Nokia E63. Some time it become hang and in this condition I have to restart the phone and If some one not revieve my call then again it become hang

It is a good phone I am writing this review from it now. But it also has some serious software bugs some times the menu won't open and you have to restart the phone in order to do any thing with it which is a real big problem and it isn't just my phone as others have told me they have same problem!!!! Other then that it is a perfectly good phone
