Try nokia messaging that comes with the phone. Or you can download from nokia website. It's still free for now. If you have try it, you'll find it as good, if not better then bb connect.

Guys, i've been using this for last 8 months and without a doubt this phone rocks.
The main disadvantage that iam feeling now is its lack of ability of Blackberry connect.
Due to this Iam seriously thinking of an upgrade to either some blackberry phone or any blackberry enabled handset.
Any recomandations?

definitely one of the best Nokia Phones ever, great Camera, user interface, but not much on the sound if you're using the speakers outside. but it it definitely one of the best phones nokia had made hands down!

I'm using a Nokia 5800 and after the firmware update when the security code screen prompts I figured that the input field is set to digits and not charactors. I don't know whether its the same scenario with this phone since no update is available for my phone at the moment. Just a sugession. Try changing the case.

I have updated my phone so many times but have never been asked any passwords. E61i and now E71. Did you update yourself. I always get it done from Nokia Care. No problems. The instructions clearly say that security code must be undone before the process starts.

You have to re-install the firmware. Meaning, you will loose all the data that is there in the phone memory and when you insert the card in the updated phone it may work it may not work. I do not know. So, please do let us know as to what happened. Go to www.nokia.com/mynokia and click on Ask Nokia. Let us see what they have to say. But my different sources tell me that there is no magic key to open any and all locks. Unless you can hack into your own phone.

What can I do to recover my phone as I forgot the security code. Is there any way solve this problem?
I have it in my actives notes in the phone. How can I access it from the PC?

Try installing ovi store from downloads and look for it there
