It talks about editing ability, but can you create documents with this or can you only edit ones that have already been made (such as having to create them on a regular computer) because part of what I'm looking for is the ability to create lists. Will this phone do that?

It is dam good
before this i had taken nokia 5800 but with in 10 to 15 days i again changed my mobile and tooked the nokia E71
this won is really cool and easy

i_m_cool, 23 Jul 2009I just found out that firmware update depends on the produc... moreDo go to Nokia care and avoid busting your phone as a lot of people have done. I am one of them. Never upgrade your phone yourself from the internet. Nokia care people do it on their computer which is much more reliable.
And in any case there is not much of a difference between one version of FirmWare and other. So, just be satisfied with your version and be sure of your phone.

I just found out that firmware update depends on the product code of the phone. It is the 7 digits located at the back below the imei numbers. I tried to update both my E71. Only the new E71 accepted the new firmware (version 300.21.012). When I tried to upgrade the other E71, the updater shows that it has the latest firmware (version 200...) I really want to upgrade this also to version 300. The phone works really fast and very stable no hanging or restarting so far.
Is there any way to work around this. Im thinking of bringing the phone to Nokia care center but will really be inconvenient, any idea out there?

In India Nokia is giving the phone + Battery + 2 GB card + Pouch + Carrying string and some dealers are giving a digital watch and a free SIM. You may not get the watch and the SIM.
