Hi all. I bought my E71 one week back. Its really a fantastic phone. The battery will last for long time if you are not usin the internet, blutooth and music player etc for long time.
1)Only the problem which i face is that the handset get automatically restarted inbetween for 2 to 3 times in a day
2)and also i was not able to open the main menu sometimes as it get stucks. just to get out of this, i was forced to restart my phone.
3)Another thing which i noticed yesterday for the first time that when i pressed the call receive button to attend a incoming call, it takes time to connect to the cal and i can see the caller's no showing calling in my screen for some time.
Dont know why it is happening? I am usin a paid version of F-Secure Mob Antivirus in my mob. Pls advice..!!! Thank you

What is now the difference of this Nokia E71 to those of PALM and BlackBerries out there?
But for me, I think I find this Nokia E71, better than those.
What do u think guys?

The memory card can be anyone BUT some card are not guarantee to work

My E71-1 works perfectly with the 8Gb card..u should try the card on another phone

My 8gb card is not working with my e71...although it is compatible. Has anyone else had this problem? I need help please! Do I need a nokia memory card?

i have e71 the white version for 2 months now
my impression is over all it is a nice cell phone to use. almost perfect for as a business tool and messaging
cons:
- the ceramic built of the white version easily caught a red print from the ugly white-red case included in the package.
- it is slippery especially if u have a sweety palm
- poor quality ear-phones
- 3.2 camera and video recording are below standards.
my question is what is the new features included in its new firware.

the phone is okay.. it's just that somtimes the home screen freezes and you may have to restart it... but the phone is okay..

How come there is same model of E71 but from China with touchscreen and dual sim card? Is that some trick version? What's the downside of using it in US?

Great Built Quality & Very Solidly Built, Lots of Spec, Smooth Running & Fast, Does'nt Crash like other Nokia do, i.e. N95, N73,Or other Smart Nokia Phones, Superb Battery Life get upto 6 Days from One Charge, WIFI & GPS are Great, Camera is Standard 3.2 Mega pixel & not as good as Others, but its Functional, Overall 9 out of 10, One of the if not the Best Nokia Phone Out.

francisc, 12 Apr 2009i'we bought an e71 recently... it is great, but i see that ... moreI get about 5 Days of life from my E71, & thats from Moderate Use, Also if your Using 3G network that Uses more Battery life than 2G, If your Only Getting 2 Days Battery life from Short Use then your Battery is Faulty & may need to Be replaced.

just be sure to follow.
a) make ur phone silent all the time.
b) never use bluetooth, minimize calling, sending sms (OPTIONAL: MAKE UR PHONE IN OFFLINE MODE), avoid using the cam.
c) turn off vibration. keypad and warning tones should be off.
d) decrease the brightness level to the lowest.
e) avoid using the music or video player at all cost.
NOW LET'S SEE! MAYBE UR PHONE WILL EVEN LAST FOR 2 WEEKS! IF FOLLOWED STRICTLY!

Can anyone help me out..I brought an E71 in December and I have sent SMS messages about 3 times...why is it stopping me from sending SMS...I went into the new messages (Sending Options) and noticed it was set to SIM Message Center..I changed it to my local provider UTS... and it keeps going back to the first...a few times it allowed me to send but then goes back...can anyone assist with this? Thanks in advance
