Can anyone inform me whether it is possible to connect to an outlook email exchange server in order to recieve your emails on the go with this phone? Does it have "always on internet" capability?

Hi all, this looks like an awesome phone... I heard that this does not support Blackberry connect... is that true? If so, is there a software that I can install to ensure that the E71 supports Blackberry connect? For me, then this would be the perfect business phone.

              HELP WITH THE KEYPAD!!!
recently got an e71, the keys Q,A,Z,and W are scrambled meaning when they are pressed another letter appears, tried resetting the phone to factory defaults but didnt work. Could it be a firmware problem? but firmware update isn't available yet on the nokia site. anyone who knows how to solve this problem?

As a owner of many SE's I have been waiting eagerly on the arrival of the new Experia...since this took some time i decided to look at Nokia, a brand that ive never used before. The model that immediately got my attention was the E71. Needless to say got it in grey 3 days ago and its a stunner and just love it! Battery life good but not 17! Days as advertised and had some problems where phone frooze up transferring large quantities of pics from SE via bluetooth. Besides this can highly recommend and delighted with my choice. Its an extremely powerful gem packed into a very stylish sexy package.

LanCloT, 27 Sep 2008I want to buy this phone but I want to ask, Is the QWERTY ... moreLanCloT,
I have medium sized hands and for the most part the kb is very good, better then I thought. But one also remember this is a small, compact and very well designed phone, I understood this before buying it. Comparing it to a phone several times its thickness and size is not fair.

The best kb, I have seen on a phone, is a Motorola Q9h. I'm sure I'll get some flack over this, but its true. Now, not a fan of Windows Smartphone (over whatever MSFT calls it now) but even that is done pretty well.

have cool features. haven't tried APN setting (there is APN setting in the phone). the sync with msexchange is good either with hsdpa or wifi. for big finger i think have to use he tip of ur nails to key in. pls try first before u buy. the sound quality quite ok when play loud speaker and on head set. for camera, doesn't really handy coz onl one button for it (check the review)

What a beautiful phone with very good features in it. It reduced my usage of laptop. I am proud to be a nokia employee. hi guys

i need to know the ffg please:

does the e71 support any ssh client? like putty or secure crt?

without this it will be senseless for me to buy the phone and also the blow

and secondly am i able to define an APN when connecting to the Mobile service provider?

ie basically here in South Africa, the Mobile Provider i use has a public APN and i need to use my own private APN to connect to the LAN office.
