I really dont know what to say about this phone. I've had 4 exchanges and it still won't work. I dropped the 1st one on a carpet and all the keys stopped working. The second one came in but will switch on halfway and go back off again.
The 3rd one just wont switch on at all. And the 4th has no audio. really makes me wonder.

I have a Blackberry Curve 8320. The e-mail is flawless. How does E71 compare? I know it does not support Blackberry connect!
What about spell check? Has Nokia finally decided to include it? Blackberry Curve certainly has this important professional feature.

I've picked it up for no extra fee in downtown Toronto. those ones they sell in stores are Asian Ver so probably its not made in Finland and its already been open!

ACtually both e90 and e71 have the same features but e70 is a smaller one with steel,while e90 is a bit heavy,,,,but the prices are different too,,,e90 is much expensive thn e71,,,if u have no problem is spendin thn go for e90 but with bulkness,,,ootherwise e71 is best till now...thnks

Can somebody tell me that is it possible to get a group tab in contacts. How i can access the groups without entering into the phone book?
Earlier Nokia phones had an exclusive tab for groups but its not there in E71. Pls throw some light on it.

i want to buy new mob, but i am confused btween nokia E71 and E90. actually they have nearly same application, but which has good speed,looks i am interested in that.
please help me out i wht should i go, for E71 or E90.

Got the phone yesterday, it looks awesome and feels awesome in your hand. The screen is clear and easy to read, easy to use and an enjoyable experience.
After about half an hour after i turned the phone on i got a message saying 'Remove memory card, press OK'
The phone has continualy been coming up with this message even after ive done what its asked. Tried 4 different memory cards and te phone kept saying the same thing.
When i was in messages or any other applications and the message came up, after it finished it came up with another message saying 'closing all applications' and whatever i was in at the time would close.
Very annoying, took it back to the shop today and replaced with a brand new one.
Overall happy with the phone and its features, it was a shame it had a fault but the new one does not have the same problem.

Hi everyone. Just needed help with setting the E71, so that it'd show the call duration during a call. Can someone please post up the directions of how it can be done.
I had a Nok E65 previously and it was in Menu - Log - Options. I can't seem to find it on the E71 though.

I've got my set from Singtel about a month ago. Have notice the 1st bar battery do drop quickly. Anyway the overall battery performance is acceptable, last me about 2-2.5 days. I do lotsa net browsing & trading online with the phone. 1 thing I notice is the phone memory usage increases after couple of surfing sessions. The "Clear All Privacy Data" function don't seem to be working right. I have to remove the battery for about 10mins to clear the temporary memory(cache) in the phone.
I had wrote to Nokia since & is waiting for their solution.

The music player is retarded; can someone please tell me if i can play SPECIFIC FOLDERS only on this phone off my memory card, or must i scroll through EVERY sound, ringtone and MP3 file to play what i want? if you can please help; email me at roosta_03@hotmail.com
