Sorry m8, but i don't agree with you regarding the keypad... morewell..im 191 so the same goes for me.. and my fingers are quite thin but i find myself many times pressing 2 keys or the wrong key
maybe is my lack of practice with this device.. i got it for very few days :)
and yeah. the device is worth the money. has a certain look that just screams L U X U R Y
even though thats not what i wanted with an E series

Sorry m8, but i don't agree with you regarding the keypad.
I'm 196cm tall, so, as you can imagine, my fingers are not small at all.
I find the keypad a breeze to type with. Maybe at first it seemed kind of awkward, but that sensation just went away after 30 minutes using the keyboard.
It's so easy to type without missing a letter. Maybe it is because the keys are not flat.
OK, if you've got really fat fingers it might be weird to write a message :)

voice quality is ok. not bad at all/ probably is average.
the phone is cool.

GSM Arena: What is wrong with your posting system? I posted a lengthy review of my E71 and it has not appeared after over 12 hours. Anyway, doed anyone else experience muffled incoming AND outgoing calls? My incoming calls sound muffled in comparison to all my previous phones, including SE K800i, Nokia N95 8G and many more. (I am not re-writing my full review that GSM Arena have lost. Phone is nice except for camera's inability to handle low light/dark colours and muffled sound.)

sen, 21 Aug 2008i bought my E71 but after few days my menu is hanging when ... moredear sen, u r lucky that u got this issue after few days, i faced the same issue the next day i bought the same. u do onething...u simply clear all the applications which may be running on the background by long pressing the Home key. Also u change the short key for Menu button (by default it is the Top Most left button) to any other function such as Settings, Contacts whatever. then your shuld be resolved. Even after that if the problem persisits then u need to restart the mobile to solve the problem whenever it happens.
But if this continues then go to some Nokia Care center to see the handset. it can be oisture problem in the keypad or software problem also is possible.

damanz, 22 Aug 2008hi . has anyone check the camera of e71 . i tried to get a ... moredear damanz. i alos got the same issue with my mobile and you know what i also thought thatb it was a problem. i went to noia care centre also they informed that it is not an issue. it is like that only. so don't worry and anyways camera quality in E71 is not good which is now a common truth which all of us owner of e71 know

hi . has anyone check the camera of e71 . i tried to get a picture on dark surroundings . black and brown background and i see so many red and green lines . but if i get a picture on bright or white surroundings the camera is fine . has anyone notice the same defects on their e71. need your opinion on this .

Got an E71 on Vodafone here in the UK. After a heavy days useage, here is one question/complaint and then some comments: a) Incoming calls sound muffled, and those I talk to say I sound muffled too. Anyone else notice this? b) Built quality freat - very heavy infact. c) Zipping around the phone is nice - it is zippy. :-) d) The interface is visually antiquated, way behind the slick and well conceived Sony Ericsson look. Even my prior SE K800i of two years is better. e) Huge waste of space in the interface. IE, menu items for turning items ON or OFF are way to large and have large gaps meaning more scrolling up and down. (Same with all Nokia Series 60 phones, inc N95 series.) f) Sound quality from the radio using headphones is nothing on my N95 8G. Radio not as senstitive as N95. g) Calendar is pretty good (my second top use of the phone.) h) Email integration is good - although checking Gmail is unreliable, unlike Yahoo. i) Camera is not too bad really. No purple on my pics, but a bit noisy in the dark areas. (Not as good as the N95, but we knew that already.) j) Key backlight does not light up unless it is really dark, which is annoying. I will see if there is a way to make the backlighting stay on all the time. k) The web browser is excellent, easily the best of any phone I have ever used. Very fast and renders the pages very well. Better than the iPhone in my opinion as you don't need to waste time zooming in and out all the time. Playing YouTube videos looks great! l) Small screen and therefore, font size, does strain the eyes a bit. Now I know what it is like to be a Blackberry users! But the E71 is way more stylish and versatile. Chosen over an iPhone by the way. If the iPhone has a 3MP (or greater) auto focus camera, better battery life, stereo bluetooth, a removable battery and was available on Vodafone, I would have got one, no matter the ineffective touch screen keyboard. Phew!
