This secondary camera may be just given for 3G network for Video Call and I think that when you try to call by Video Call at that time this camera will start showing its controls.
Just check if you have 3G support from operator and try to call someone from your mobile to check if the controls are displayed om screen or not.

No problems at all with Globe's and Smart's 3G services.

Its a very good Phone but not as good as Blackberry .If some one is looking for complete email phone Blackberry is still the best I had this phone for 48 hours but i miss blackberry functions so much so sold out this phone for 200usd to get another BB phone .
overall this phone is 9/10
BUt not for heavy email purpose

Hi, i'm planning to purchase the E71i, I'm currently using the E61i and honestly speaking i'm satisfied with it, but wanting to upgrade after 1 yr of use. Question is that i was bothered with the comments of low signal receptions of the E71i, I'm from the Phil. using it with the GLOBE carrier here, any comments please regarding the signal or reception of the E71 in the Phil.?? Mabuhay..

That's what you get when you buy from a carrier.
If I were you, I'd spend some money and get an unbranded one.
Believe me, it is worth it.
Especially because of the firmware updates - the unbranded phones' new firmware always come months ahead.
And this phone really needs "some adjustments" in terms of signal and camera.

Hey, I'm really bad with technology, but recently bought this phone and was charged over 900$ cad for using the internet, I thought i was connected through wifi, but i wasn't. I know i sound dumb, but does anyone know how to connect with wifi? or know any websites?>

hey can anyone help me out here!!!!
i bought my e71 a month ago and i am having a serious problem. the phone freezes all the time, i cant press any buton on the keyboard. and it searches and dial any of contacts all the time. i really love this phone please help

Can someone tell me why this phone is STILL not available from ANY network in the UK? (It is available for purchase in some independent shops.) Vodafone UK have delayed it until after 22nd August. What is going on? It is the most desire sensible phone out there so why is it being delayed? Who is paying off the networks to delay it? Samsung? HTC? It cannot be SE as they have no credible phones currently. I really think MS are bribing the industry to get Windows Mobile out there. They have done the same with the EEE PC (you still cannot buy a Linux EEE PC 901, yet XP everywhere!) And look how they killed the OLPC! Nokia, stand your ground for heaven's sakes! I want my E71!

this things is really amazing. after 3days used of this phone, All good! except it was self reboot for 2 times (only when it connected with wifi), it has everything u want. good job Nokia!

Hi to all owners of E-71,
I have been using this Phone since last about 1 Month, but I noticed that Barcode reader is not working in this phone.
I have tried to use Bar Code Reader several times but it couldnot read anything and I am surprised if anybody else is able to use
this feature or not.
Please show me if you can for Screen Shot of what is report data looks like, because whenever I scanned bracode it takes long time and square boxes moves with red colour here & there and red lines on screen appear in different shapes, but finally nothing happens and this application goes into standby mode by itself.
Please anyone can inform solution for this problem.?
