Nokia E71

I never really spend over $300 for a phone, but two days ago I spent over four hundred dollars for the Nokia E71. I can tell you this, it a nice phone, very good features to make any first time buyer like myself to buy one from looking at clips on youtube.
I’m going keep it short. If you coming from a Black Berry 8300 curve series, and use the nokia E71 for the first time, you may want to switch back to Black Berry or look for the Bold 9000. I use to own a Black Berry curve and I love it, but want to try something new like the Nokia E71 and still have it. I believe the Bold 9000 going to kill the Nokia E71 because of BB messenger and if you know what I’m taking about you going to agree with me, and also easy settings for emailing. Don’t get me wrong, the Nokia E71 is fast and have great features for a sleek phone and I believe that the best slim phone ever from Nokia, but it would had been a prefect phone if Nokia E71 can work with BlackBerry messenger, but I’m going to keep the Nokia E 71.

hello, i am Mohsin, i am going to buy the E-71, in few days, so plz can any one tell me that does this phone has any drawbacks, is this phone proves to be a great phone ?

Is Nokia E71 capable of using any CDMA chip? I mean, the chips which are used by CDMA phones to send and receice data. I anyone knowz please let me know coz I like to buy this Nokia E71.

Mine works perfectly.. I get a GPS signal in seconds indoors. I just bought mine aug 13 2008...

This secondary camera may be just given for 3G network for Video Call and I think that when you try to call by Video Call at that time this camera will start showing its controls.
Just check if you have 3G support from operator and try to call someone from your mobile to check if the controls are displayed om screen or not.

No problems at all with Globe's and Smart's 3G services.

Its a very good Phone but not as good as Blackberry .If some one is looking for complete email phone Blackberry is still the best I had this phone for 48 hours but i miss blackberry functions so much so sold out this phone for 200usd to get another BB phone .
overall this phone is 9/10
BUt not for heavy email purpose

Hi, i'm planning to purchase the E71i, I'm currently using the E61i and honestly speaking i'm satisfied with it, but wanting to upgrade after 1 yr of use. Question is that i was bothered with the comments of low signal receptions of the E71i, I'm from the Phil. using it with the GLOBE carrier here, any comments please regarding the signal or reception of the E71 in the Phil.?? Mabuhay..

That's what you get when you buy from a carrier.
If I were you, I'd spend some money and get an unbranded one.
Believe me, it is worth it.
Especially because of the firmware updates - the unbranded phones' new firmware always come months ahead.
And this phone really needs "some adjustments" in terms of signal and camera.

hey can anyone help me out here!!!!
i bought my e71 a month ago and i am having a serious problem. the phone freezes all the time, i cant press any buton on the keyboard. and it searches and dial any of contacts all the time. i really love this phone please help
