I think i'm going to buy e71..I read a lot of reviews and opinions in many sites and and almost everybody says that it's a very great phone..well i'm wondering if the resolution of the screen is a problem for different third party applications.I know that there is a huge amount of applications for 240.320 pixels screens but what about the 320.240 pixels (landscape) screen of e71, is this a problem? I would appreciate it if you base your answer on applications tested on the phone.

just wish a bit more was put into the fun part of the phone not everybodys alan sugar i mean how much would it cost to add visuals to the music player and a gallery like n95 with a slide show setting,no tv out even 6500 slide has that and why put the auto focus key on button 2 and have to press middle button to take picture?if your going to have a 2nd screen theme for non business users add non business software...

meshoo, use this method, to copy press Shift & right jog press COPY and to paste press Extreme left + CTR and then V to paste..

i bought this phone today from 3 on payg i put in my contract sim and set up email with 3 and my hotmail,i dont get a tone and message from 3 mail i have to go into emails and check all the time any ideas how to get alerted when a email arrives thanks.

i hve been using sony ericsons thru out the time so sometimes i may be bit early to say some thing like this. but any way i must tell u that e 71 is one of the most fantastic phones when it comes to music. u can feel every bit of sound and its like u are just infont of the event.......

Back again to welcome you and answer ur questions
E71 has better music now there is no doubt in that ,i personaly managed to get n95 n81 and my own 82; here is the results
Loudness. N81 and 71 were outstanding
frequency res. 71 was better then even 81
Noise reduction .71 then n81 then 82
Overall great esereies device with better acoustic.
Screen is very clear and processor is even better then n82 .
The only negative is camera performance . Auto focus ? Where are thee?
And battery is simply the beeeeessssst . I havent seen such a great battery.
Overall i would say that it will b better after firmware update as we have seen with n82 and 95.

Adnan_R, 10 Aug 2008Hey man, Can you elaborate about the quality of music of E... moreYes, it is true that E71's music output from earphone is better than n82 and n95. e71 sound is cleaner, sharper and you could hear more details compare to n95 or even n82 with 8 manual sound equalizer setting. I'm using a high end creative auvana earphone on both n95 & n82 directly and to a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter on my e71 for playing my mp3s so no biased-ness in my comments. In fact, i'm also gladly surprised that nokia installed the music edition of player from N-series on E71 & E66. :-)

hello, can i know if this phone supports Lock Applications?
Like for example you it will be posible for you to put lock code in your messaging or contacts to prevent other people from accessing that feature of your phone.
Like the ones in the motorola.

I just got the E71 last Saturday. Although I was 100% keen on getting a Windows OS PDA phone, but because of all the positive comments here, I decided to try the E71.
I have to say the small screen is a major bummer (especially comparing it to my trustee old 3.5" screen PDA phone), but you just can't not be impressed with all the stuff that Nokia put into this beautiful little thing.
Can't say much so far for the performance yet, as on the second day the memory card suddenly got corrupted (while retrieving files from my Nokia 6120c - major dissapointment). So I'm waiting for the service centre to call me once they have a new one for me. Hope there's no more glitches.
