I'm a heavy multimedia/mobile internet user and I can say that this phone is fulfilling ALL my needs. The battery life is more than great and the ergonomics of the phne are excellent. I would have liked a VGA screen but I can manage well also with qvga. The keyboard is extremly easy toi use despite its small size.
A higly recomended phone, maybe the best there is in this class.

the phone is a boon for all professionals. it is much faster than the rest of the phones in its category and its really sleek so not cumbersome to carry. all in all a fully packed business phone worth every penny spent.

hey guys, i got mine last week. so i want to share overall about this phone:
Battery life: very good (hardcore-3days, very busy-4days, moderate 5-6days)
Screen: wide enough and clear enough (for me)
Keypad: although it seems very tiny but after some time, well you will find it more comfort than e61i ( i use this phone before)
Loudspeaker: loud but not very loud (enough for me to hear every time it rings) also good and clear enough for listening to the music via loudspeaker (if your mp3 file is good enough, then you can hear the detail of the song)
Camera: not so good, but i don't care because i don't buy phone because of it's camera (lol)
by the way right now i'm using e51 & e71.
i can't wait to see & use e66.....
why e66 not in the market yet???

i got this 7 days and its awesome...i tot the keypad was way to small for my finger but u ONLY need ur thumb...thats all...plus its not really pricey if compare to other pda or smartphone. refresh rate is really fast.. the first point that lure me to buy e71 is the slimnest phone..wow..its a great phone with all the 3g, gps, document viewer but the picture is only decent but what the heck..its a businees phone...the battery is superb...when i fully charge it, e71 can last for 4 days with average 20-30 calls per day not including 100's of sms...
i sold my iphone 8gb to my friend to get this...

i was a nokia user before. now i'm using SE p1i because of the keyboard and the touchscreen.
i think the E71 is a big improvement over e51. hope they make a touchscreen nokia. now this phone is way better than the N series of nokia coz i'm getting tired and bored about their features. it's basically the same and nothing is new.
i hope they continue making intersting phone like the e71. i already have tried the e51 and i think its cool. the qwerty keypad of e71 is a very big plus for us lovers of this kind of keypad. keep up the good work about the e71 only.
about the n series, what's next???? M SERIES????

Specs are awesome however some users might find the key pad not easy to use BUT using the predictive text option is the best way to type. The software management is way to better than any of the communicator series of the Sony Ericsson P910i series.

I have always used a communicator and the last nokia instrument used was the 9500, I wanted to buy the E90 BUT was advised by my Nokia Dealer to opt for the E71. Its been a week i bought a E71 and to be honest the E71 is a SUBSTITUTE or per say REPLACEMENT for the E90.The E71 is a KICK ASS invention to kick the E90.
Techy's and IT savvy peps' who do not like BULKY phones but still want the communicator in a ZIP mode..close your eyes and buy the E71....
