I don't buy touch-screen at all.Maybe for people like me who want things reliable and accurate. For sliding people who will like touch-screen.
Thatis why we need e71, not iphone

The significant long battery life is really practical and useful for commecial people. Can see 2 years later all phone will come with this standard then.

Its a nice unit..everything perfect..only ONE ISSUE is annoying me which is yahoo pop email setup.

Seems the phone battery lasts longer than most phones of its type that I know. This is a plus for me who is always on the road, away from the charger.
Office applications is also a plus for me.
Can't wait buying this phone. Please contact me, I need the phone.

Hey guys just bouight the e71 one day asgo its an awsome phone.Guys who are debating to buy a sony ericcsson instead of this one are making a huge mistake.The e 71 is a delight to use and it works like no other nokia phone i have used and trust me i have used all the phones that nokia has manufactured till date this phone is fast very easy to make a call from ur homescreen dont have to gop inside contacts its mind blowing i liked it so much went and bought me another one BRILLIANT PHONE U GUYS HAVE TO GET ONE

finally got it on 9 july.
i m using cell phones since 2000.
the history is very long.
and now after using above 100 models (changing every model after 2-3 months) i m sure that the story will be slow from here coz of nokia e71.
it is the best phone ever made by nokia. designwise, lookwise, user interfacewise...etc. the best phone ever.
forget not this phone will change strategy of every phone maker i.e. samsung, se, moto, bb... everyone.
i request to every user of nokia e71. post ur experience about it...

we acknowledge the keypad is small but it very sensitive and soft too you will not regret it

I am also looking forward to buy this phone as it has some following features which I want:
it has wi-fi, which makes easy to use internet anywhere
it has a big screen which makes it easy to view the page.
It has navigation feature.
It has a new feature which auto corrects the word spelling, like we do in microsoft word
You can change your screen mode from professional to personal
It has one touch calling facility
BUT ......BUT......... BUT......
IT HAS, ITS BIGGEST DRAWBACK....
YES THE BIGGEST....
IT HAS THE SMALLEST KEY PAD WHICH ONE CAN THINK OF. , so that means in emergency, you cant dial or do things...
also it has slippery body which can make it fall down..
plus its like $500 which is expensive then sony erricsson G900 which has same features + touch screen..
I think thier new model coming up E66 is a better choice

buy it in the next few weeks after the paycheque comes
but any1 that owns the fone, how is it?
battery life?
how much txt messages can it hold?
hows the wi-fi?
and if you bout on contract, how is ur data plan??
is the fone durable?

Does It support Black Berry.

Adit38, 12 Jul 2008If ur father is show off type person, maybe e90 suit better... morethanks for da comment.but are the hinges not going to be a problem in time?i have had really bad experience with the hinges on the nokia9500 before..broken hinges,screen problem..softkey not responding..wouldnt want history to repeat itself again..my father is a little bit 'rough' sometimes..u know old guys..sometimes they are a little bit careless
