Is there an "Accelerometer sensor" feature in this phone?
Doesn't seem to be written anywhere. Weirdly Nokia has this feature in the E66 only.

Hello GSM Arena,
I have question about NOKIA E71
What does the described next mean?
According to Nokia web site specification for
E71:
Operating frequency
•E71-1 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100 HSDPA
•E71-2 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/1900 HSDPA
•E71-3 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/2100 HSDPA
Data network
•WCDMA 900/2100 or 850/1900 or 850/2100,
Is this one phone described only or there are three phones and I have to look for the one with corresponding frequency and provider in my living area or I can buy any E71 phone that will cover all of the above? I can find a lot of different prices and specification online so I don’t know which one works for me as price and functionality.
Thank You

Regarigog Blackberry compatiblity in E71, on its launch day, when asked about this, the Nokia Officials categorically stated that right now this phone is not Blackberry compatible. Actually this phone is the direct challenger of Blackberry devices, and the target consumer segment is same, the email-happy professionals. So, may be RIM (Research in Motion, the owner of blackberry) is not ready to empower its direct competitor phone with their technology. So, at least officially, Nokia E71 is not a blackberry-enabled device.
But, I may be wrong, Nokia E51 was also not officially a blackberry enabled device when it was launched. But still, one can use blackberry in it, by following the steps suggested for Nokia E90. May be in any such way, E71 also.... :-)
But excepting the extreme power users, is there any real need for blackberry in E71? The phone is capable of automatically checking mails in every five minutes. That means whenever a new mail arrives in your inbox, you can see it on the screen of E71 within maximum five minutes. Isn't it sufficient for most of us?
And regarding camera, though the camera, as per technical specs is of 3.2 MP with auto focus, the still photo quality is very poor, as declared by all renouned reviewers. When one has to pay the price of the camera also, while buying E71 (nokia hasn't added it for free ! :-), why one will accept a poor camera? May be nokia will say that to keep the price of E71 more affordable (than E90) they have to add a cheap camera!! Business Logic !!

Wonderkid, 08 Jul 2008@Winura: I disagree with your comments re camera & video. M... morei was just pointing out Nokia's argument with the E Series. anyhow this phone has a better camera than most nokia's right? even though the 3mpxl cam is not up to N93i's standard its somewhat better than a 2mpxl with auto focus. and if the camera is a 3mpxl it definitely will give out more than the silly 176x144 resolution like in most phones with 2mpxl. the camera maybe somewhat disappointing. but its better than nothing right? the phone has a separate cam for video calls as well. in the future nokia might put a better camera if the potential buyers ask for. the problem is most people go for the look of the phone and start acting silly saying the sounds are not good, the cam isn't good, i want this i want that etc. some wants bigger screens. you have to admit when it comes to the screen there are dimwits who expects a screen as big as the tv screen to be fitted to the phone. thats what you call stupidity. just because you have the money you shouldn't buy a phone just for the sake of buying one. i have never bought a phone just for the sake of buying one and so should the others. if you just buy a phone 90% of those people won't be known as a happy customer.
