AnonD-16360, 04 Aug 2011I am planning to buy a solid qwerty phone but confused betw... moreit all depends upon your personal requirement & you have made it clear in your post. so I would suggest to go with nokia. Battery of android phone in the same range can take 1 day, not more than that. Camera of E6(fixed focus) has problem with object less than 50 cm away else it's better because of 8 mp.
music on E72 is not great but above average..don't have idea about E6 music.
and battery of E6 can last for about 2 days while you can manage 3-4 days on E72.

I am planning to buy a solid qwerty phone but confused between E6 and E72.Specs and interface wise, E6 is better due to Symbian Anna and of course, the fact E6 being the latest E-series model. Then again E72 has a mammoth battery back-up and better(as I read over the net) auto-focus 5mp camera.
I am only concerned in the following departments :
1. Good Build
2. Basic telephony (like voice clarity and audibility during calls, network strength)
3. Music
4. camera for occasional snaps
5. Battery life (Very IMPORTANT)
I don't mind outdated interface or not so fancy browser or less, (not so hip) apps.
I am not into much browsing , internet or multimedia.
Now my question is 2-fold :
Which among the 2 will better suit my needs?
and
At the same price range we can find Android Solutions, so is it worth paying so much for the Xtra battery or better camera which are found in the E6 and E72?

My E72 tells me (Memory full! close some ... moreYou're just having a RAM bottleneck. 128 MB can only multitask efficiently up to 3 apps, assuming you're using the default theme and absolutely NO background apps running. Don't use Opera Mobile, it's too much for 128 MB. Don't use Netqin Mobile Guard and Kaspersky too. Eats up so much RAM that your phone will be useless.

its a great phone.. one who dont want to think abt the phones whatever the updation.... can go for this one..

i am facing download failure problems from ovi. This happened when I upgraded to os 071.004 version. Even Traveler doesnt load any more ! Please help. Kaspersky refuses to uninstall also !

Guys PLEASE HELP! My E72 tells me (Memory full! close some application) when am on internet, especially when am browsing using opera mobile. I installed netqin mobile guard but still it gives me the same notice every now and then. What could be the problem?? Please guys help

I have Nokia E72 for the last 1 year....such a reliable phone with amazing features...i luv that phone....i reccomended it for every1....just go for this phone nd enjoy......luv u e72 rocksssssss.

Viewing the specs, I would say tht this phone is much better than my BB 8520 bcuz the camera resolution on the BB is very poor, and I don't get the fact tht y do u must have service to run facebook or MSN on the BB? On the nokia u can do all this for free!! :D that's why I'm getting it next week !! :D I'm so excited!

i recommended u to buy E72..... because now E72 upgrade their firmware 71.004 .its great net speed and other performance and also haven't hang anymore....

e72 much preferable for me beacause it provides you great picture resolution than bb8520 and perhaps bb8520 is one of the oldest phone of bb
