Often people put on sisx files that are not compatible with symbian..It is difficult to comment on these because symbian security throws up messages telling you its NOT compatible with your device.Often people carry on and get away with it.I have done it with some themes from Zedge and they worked fine,then things start to go wrong and after years of using symbian found out its the theme corrupting the device.!!
I have had only 1 virus/worm when using N73 and it was F-Secure that caught it.I dont know what it was as F-Secure showed it had removed it..A lot of people swear by a firewll and anti-virus..I think it slows down devices like they do on laptop and symbian is very secure but still things can happen.I loved doing scans of my device using anti-virus software.

I had e72 for 14 months and had no trouble and i used a 32GB card..These are mini computers and need cleaning out and getting rid of stuff you dont use..
These smartphones should come with a guide which shows how to get the best but they are so bloomin complex they rely on good housekeeping on the users behalf.
I see it time and time again users saying its hanging but keeping the C-Disk as free as possible and closing apps helps..Thumbnails,cache,unused apps all clog up these smartfones like any laptop but some people just use them with NO maintainence day in ,day out.
I have seen people in my life with 14 apps open in background ,the c-disk full and then they say its slow and rubbish..Get your c-disk free close apps get rid of stuff you dont need and back up your Nokia device to memory card and do a hard reset..
TIPS,
ONLY Put on c-disk your ringtone/message tone /alarm tone and your theme.
Always "unless the O/S wont let you " put everything on memory card...TOdays cards are fast and will not harm sisx apps .
If you can when on web clear out cache and cookies.Only have your fave sites bookmarked.Some people get 4-50 MB of memory back on a clear out.

Hi guys!
I just bought this phone few days ago and its a very nice machine. But my problems are
1. I am kind of trapped on the E-mail Settings
2. I downloaded opera 6.0 and it refuse to open, keep saying i should check my network Settings
3. Each time i want to play music with ear phone/headphone, the phone normally hangs and trip off. I can't play music with the ear phone.
Pls i need help as soon as possible, Thanks.

using this phone for almost 2 weeks, im kinda bored with the os, because its kinda old...
And 1 more thing i dont like the speaker quality, and when i updated its software it hangs about 2 times a day.....

I got a e72 8 mnths ago, major trouble with dropping calls. Returned it to the manufacturer after endless tests and got a reconditioned one in its place. Same problems!Anybody else with this hastle?

Just for everyone's information. Just "upgraded" the Software version of my E72-1 from 054. to the 071.004 version and now the Bluetooth radio will not detect anything! Pairing is out of the question. Be careful guys. Anyone else seen this yet ? Wish I'd never "updated" (downgraded?) Good Luck.

this mobile set is not give you 100% performance it is work like PC with Dos platform. Hang frequently and require to reboot....

I posted a question before regarding... morenokia E72 is a great phone with great features and good camera front and back and we can also click images from front camera also and net browsing is faster that E63 and sound is very low but its a business phone but headphone volume is superb its 5 time better that E5 so great phone with great features
