spydar, 26 Apr 2011been usin this nokia for abt a year now..i mean nokia e72..... moreGuy, the only problem to encounter is laziness. The new update features could make you forget to sleep, feed, bath etc. Do not hesitate in updating your phone. I just did mine. It is great. Backup your files first. With enough dough in your sim , you can update your device. You are missing a lot.

When... morejust update u r phones os with phoenix service or nokia software updater u r problem wiil solve bcoz u r phone font file is missing . if you will software upgrade or firmware flash then u r font file wll restore and u r phone will work fine

You could have virus in your memory card. Restore factory settings. Scan both your phone and card with any good antivirus. Do not scan you card with the stuff in your phone. Use any memorycard reader for your memory card. If possible update your device without the memory card. Viruses are in love with memory cards and devices. Buy a fresh card if possible. i have e72 and i updated software version 054.005
after that i face the problem when i received a message there is no name show on my cell screen only show 1 message received
please help me.

[deleted post]Nop purple colour is not officially launched in india though i have seen few in the grey market if you want only purple then you can go for it , but i'd suggest to you to stay away from those bcoz there is no warranty and if it goes kaput you'll lose all your money . instead get the white edition it looks stunning !

pls i just got this fone yesterday,..can somebody tell me how to download other language? as i dont seem to find e72 from the list of series,..again is it possible to watch tv on this fone? if yes then how pls?

Am in a confusion by seeing ... moreWell here is so much difference between the two , which you could have noticed just by comparing both the phones side by side .
1 - E72 has got more inbuilt storage space .
2 - E72 has a 5MP camera where as E71 got 3MP cam
3 - 3mm jack on E72 . if you like hearing to music and u'll often listen to music this is something very important as you can use a good set of headset .
4 - For some reason E72 has a battery life , though e71 's battery backup is also up their with the very best .
5 - E72 has a much better and faster processor ( almost double)
6 - By pressing the space button for 3 sec the flash light turns on and off . its a very good feature while there is a power cut or you in a theatre .
I have used both and i'd any day pick E72 over E71 . E72 is much better . Cheers

I got the Nokia E72, I like it very much, but I'd like to ask a question: Is there an option or key which enable me to change the writing language while I am searching in the contact list, or I have to get out from the contact list and go back to the messages to change the writing options from it?

i upgraded my phone second time and i faced a new problem....after having almost 2500 sms in my inbox...my message tone and vibration stopped...no matter what profile i hve,no matter what settings i do,no matter which mode i put on, no matter which ringtone i set...it just didnt work.....
so after searching a lot on nokia forum a user has suggested a way....move all ur inbox messages in another folder...and voilaaaaaaa....it worked...i guess its just sum bug in d updated software....but being a strong business messaging device; it shud not suffer such kind of problem...
bdw one positive thing i must mentioned after upgrading d software is d improved camera quality...i dnt know how dat happend, but i cudnt miss d sudden change in quality of still pictures taken...dey luk much much more refined...dats sure a great benefit...
