paulcycy, 22 Nov 2010how long does this phone last afta charging.....from those ... moreit lasts and lasts and lasts i have owned alot of nokia phones in my life ( a lot ) and this is the best with battery life if I fully charge it it lasts about 3 days with very heavy usage ( wifi browsing and music and camera and texting alot )

overall how is the phone?? i am planning to buy it by today or tomorrow.. if the features are not that good then which phone do u guys think i should buy.. my budget is around 16k.. plz reply soon.

am using this phone for the last 2 months . I have a different issue to say . The phone has 128 Mb ram they say , but on stand by the phone uses nearly 80 Mb. [checked when all applications are closed and nothing installed in phone memory]

im was using e63 gem mobile really after selling n buying e72 i miss like anything,it was so user friendly for checking mails mail n supports most usefull apps but in e72 i cant,my req is power mp3 player which e72 dont support,,plz let me amy guud other music player which is free full version,,,

i am e 72 user from 3 months .
positives of this mob :
* battery runs for 9 to 12 hours in one single charge for medium users .
* its very very useful for business people .
* net is super fast on wifi ,
on edge its medium fast .
* ovi maps are working as per to requirement .
it has voice guidance also .
* youtube is not too fast on wifi . on edge youtube is worst .
* camera is good , has flash also .
* u can type text fast bcoz of qwerty .
* apps other than on ovi - wont work .
* you have 2 switch modes -
1 for business mode - which can be used in office
2 - for personal mode , can be used in home .
* music is good on ear phone.
negitives :
* video recording is only 15 fps .
* no copy paste option for web pages .
* calender entires memo , to-do , reminder wont work .
* handset speaker volume is toooooo low .
you cant listen unless the environment is silent.
* no dedicated camera button for shooting .
* messaging is basic
* ringtone is too low
other than these negitives ,
the phone is awe some .

1. when u use yahoo mes. on this phone on wi fi, if somebody in your list o friends send a mesege to you, can u see it without refreshing ?
2. can u watch movies on a page like you tube live ?

KODGI, 19 Nov 2010Hi I am using Nokia E72-1 with updated software version 05... morego to your menu-control panel-settings-general-positioning. Make sure under positioning methods to turn on Assisted GPS, integrated GPS, network based. Should be good.

My Metal Grey units perfect. No problem for the past 1 months. Everything works as it should except one thing. Its that Im still trying how to use certain features. This phone cool.

a complete list of bugs. if anyone has any idea of even fixing one of them, please let us know. and if someone wants to add something to my list, they r welcome. let us build a complete list and send it to Nokia online as well as offline in your respective country list.lets start a campaign.
1) whether u call a mobile or land line, call list always shows mobile as icon.
2) calendar is pathetic. any 'memo' or ''to do' in calendar, saved at a particular time, just vanishes and shows up at different timing and sometimes it vanishes too.
3)pressing key 'j' or 'u' on the main screen shows "#" and "*" respectively.
4)in your song list, u can not search ur songs starting with j
5) closing or exiting an application does not make it exit completely. there is memory leakage.
6)optical track pad is a joke.
7)whenever you format your phone, and reconfigure your email address using Nokia messaging service, your Nokia messaging service subscription gets cancelled.
8)push mail service acts as pull mail service.
9)when a picture is assigned to a contact, and when it is called or a call received from them,after few days, the picture gets smaller. again we have to assign the same pic, and then again it remains the same for few days and after that it becomes smaller once again.
9) video ringtone assigned plays awfully.
