I confidently say as a loyalist Nokia user, that E72 rules!!! I have tried almost all Nokia phones and the best I have tried is N95 8gb,but then changes made its way and you have to go with the flow,after N95 I jumped from one phone to another hoping I can get what I got from my N95 8gb,I tried E63,E71,E75,5800,X6 16gb,n97,5730 samsung phones as well but when I got this unit,finally,I found what I've been looking for,not perfect of course but atleast it satisfy my needs..good camera,sounds,design,interface,fast browsing,convenient trackpad..THIS IS MY OPINION =)

Dear all,
I would like know about E72, one of my using the phone he facing the some problem,some time that phone functions getting stuck, i wanted to buy i hard this word i could't make decision to buy r not, pls suggest me over all this phone some body who know's the about E72.

sk, 05 Aug 2010hello. i am from mumbai and want to update nokia E72 firmw... moreI narrate what I did...download OVI suite either from the Nokia Site or eith the CD provided with the phone. Connect the phone thru usb cable...in pc suite mode(displayed on the phone after the ovi suite installs the required drivers in your device)...go to the updates...(again displayed as the s/ware updater icon at the top of the latest version of ovi suite). The ovi suite will itself detect the current and latest available software..of course your PC/Lappy MUST be connected to internet all this time on a Broad Band...the ovi suite will itself do the needful after displaying the available updates ...you can avoid useless updates like Here and Now....once your phone is updated ...after disconnecting it from the pc go to Menu>Settings>Phone>Software Updater...this will display the Nokia Lifetime Free Navigation S/W update amongst others.. which you can download thru your GPRS(internet only and NOT WAP connections) or 3G....Enjoy your device...hope this helps

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2010I hav Both BB9700 & E72...nd to my experience i use E72... moreI Thank you, these are the things I have considered and am now pretty certain that i'll not be coming home with a BB, I do remember a few of the file transfers with BB to other brands was an issue thought they would of solved it by now, also, Just my opinion, BB is more laid-back and weekend material, i'm the serious kinda guy, Nokia, For those that take life seriously :)

Drifter 786, 12 Aug 2010I am about to purchase this handset, so gar i've had a demo... moreI hav Both BB9700 & E72...nd to my experience i use E72 more BB9700...there are several cons in BB9700....like u cant recieve items through bluetooth(it might be rectified in future firmwares maybe)....very few applications for the phone....the camera sucks to the core...i still havnt understood how to use the GPS in bb9700....In E72camera is 5 mp(very gd quality) and many shortcuts (like bluetooth & torch) on keypad ......i suggest E72 than BB9700....E72 is much more user friendly.....This is my opinion

I am about to purchase this handset, so gar i've had a demo of the BB 9700 and its was quite good, I'm a Nokia fan since the old 1611, is this phone really this as bad as the reviews and comments which have been posted? I'm truly confused, been reading so many comments for almost 2 hours already, would really appreciate some feedback.... :)

yes E72 supports Skype. You can download it directly from Skype's website.

most of new nokia users are trying to get the cheap e5 compare to e72. why? is it worth for money if buy e5? need explaination from guys here...

the best slick phone i ever had , well nothing is hundred percent , to me this phone is almost perfect. Long operation hours. Great design -easy to hold and fast , thumbs up nokia

Goto Message menu>Option>SIM messages and clear all the messages. I hope now you won't be getting message symbol.

I have got this set a few days ago, i had found this set quite smooth in working and in good design,. i was use to on Nokia N-97-mini, but after that i would must say i like this set, everything is working fit & fine even battery can go upto two days with connected EDGE and GPRS, i simply say e72 is quietly brilliant.
