Darkyogi, 29 Jun 2010As a matter of fact I find the e-mail client on E-72 better... morei have nokia E72 on vodafone. i am from mumbai.I have activated vodafone live on vodafone but push email feature doesnt work on vodafone live(normal gprs).does it requires another gprs plans like vodafone mobile connect so that emails work with push feature.

I bought this E72 lastweek...my only problem is when i have a called...i cannot hear the words exactly of the caller...but i have a good and strong signal bar...i have to step away from our 10 meters away from our house before hearing clearly what my caller is saying...this is stupid! i have a cheap nokia 1209 unit also but i can hear clearly what my caller is saying and with the same network also....

just bought new e72,with new Firmware.
m havng prob, on phn display d msg sign is blinking, but i dont hv any new or unread msg in inbox,,,!
how can i solve this prob?

i have been using e71 for about 1 year and now i've upgrade to e72..my problem is that the phone restart many times randomly(about 2 to 3 times a day).this is very irretating for a phone.if anyone can help me with my problem, i will be very gladefull...thanks

To the users of E72 .. Upgrade your firmware to v.31, it will make the phone very stable and faster.

DEV, 28 Jun 2010I just bought this device last week, I have used E-70 and E... moreAs a matter of fact I find the e-mail client on E-72 better than that on E-52( I have used both). and although I am not from Mumbai but have used these devices both on Voda as well as idea(i.e. Vodafone Mobile Connect & Idea Internet) without any problem while on roaming in Mumbai during one of my recent visits . Well of course NMS is not good as Blackberry but does the job with periodic problems with rediffmail and takes time in loading html format of messages. However this is very much dependent on the GPRS speeds too as vodafone is generally the best in EDGE category, however if someone uses BSNL 3G(MTNL 3G in Mumbai) the difference between Blackberry and NMS is reduced significantly. I use 7 accounts with NMS and also with blackberry. The slight hinderance is that while E-72 allows only two of the mail accounts on home screens and sounds alerts for messages recieved in those only(rest you have to check periodically) Blackberry alerts u for any mail received. Apart from that the receiving time between BB and NMS is nearly identical and at times especially G-mail reaches thru NMS faster than Blackberry( I have tested this while my BB on Vodafone and E-72 on Idea)Even the exclusive facebook client for E-71 & 72 is much better than the usual FB client found on Nokias; still not in the league of the BB facebook client. Overall the only problem with this handset is speaker volume which works best in quiet serene office environments or quiet homes, apart from that most of the negative stuff posted here is either by mischief mongers or total ignorants; however a few hardware issues here and there can not be denied in any machine made on this planet.

shani, 27 Jun 2010yes ali ur right. e72 is nice but in front e71,,,,now e71 ... moreIf u can't afford E72 it doesn't mean u should crucify it. E72 ROCKS and it is far better than E71. It is a fact U must accept.

RK, 28 Jun 2010Does the SMS has threaded view? can anybody tell me?It doesn't have Threaded view by default but just install Nokia Conversation and you have it.

I just bought this device last week, I have used E-70 and E-71 both. I found that e-mail setting is a problem on this device OR either entire e-mail software is problematic. I want to know whether anybody here in Mumbai used several e-mail accounts on this device succesfully ? Because I doubt there is serious problem with Nokia Messaging and connections.
I would prefer to go for E71 e-mail client rather than such crap push mail service. I called up Nokia support in Delhi and Banagalore several times but they couldnot solve any problem succesfully.
If you know please help.
