A month after I bought this, the one touch keys don't work anymore. I found another user posted the same problem on a nokia support site. Hard reset was chosen as the resolve. Is this okay? What if I encounter other problems after this, should I always hard reset? That would be a pain... And what can I do about the recorder? The recordings are very bad -- bits of words are skipped at an often interval. Please help.

Pls does anyone know how to activate the accelerometer 4 E72 cus mine dosent seem to work and I can't find the option anywhere in the settings?

Some bugs on the E72 firmware that Nokia should consider fixing, it's high time now !
1. The Sms time error
I purchased the E72 recently, everything seems to be running smoothly besides a time error for my SMS. I actually live in Pakistan so I don't know if there is a problem because of that. I have checked all the settings for my time zone, etc. So I know that's not the problem. Every time I get a SMS, the time is one hour ahead.
There is no daylight time setting, it shows GMT+6 whereas it is GMT+5 in Pakistan.
2. I have recently changed my security code from 12345 to say 22222. And I have set unlock time as 20 mninutes. It locks after specified time and on entering the right password that is 22222, it works fine. But now I want to disable this security code option so that I dont have to always enter it to work on my phone. There is a setting available "phone auto-lock period" where I can either set time after which the phone will be locked or click on none option. But when I click on none option phone gives me a message "unable to unlock phone".
Perhaps there is no fix for these bugs to date !

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2010can sum1 tell me y is the scolling key light flashing in my... moreIf the messaging icon keeps on flashing, this means there are messages stored in your sim card. Copy those if you want and then delete them, the flashing icon should disappear.

the flash "breathes" which is a slow pulse to show you that the phone is on.
If the flash is succession of quick pulses then its a message

hi all. has anyone experienced?, during a phone call of about 3-5 mins, the battery is heating up.. any suggestions? had the seller changed the unit. And now, i might end up testing another battery for this E72.

No mobile in the world is perfect!Neither is E72.But, it has all qualities of an excellent phone for office and personal use.This is an high end phone.Worth the investment!Trust it,buy it and be proud of it!

over-all it's the best handset of nokia e-series, i m using it from march 2010 and still i haven't got any single problem.....nice look....very user friendly!!!

Rands, 04 Jun 2010I must say that im surprised to find soooo many problems re... morei must say its pretty good, my friend has it, what i dont like about it is the camera and the sound wuality only, e63 is even better, but, e72 didnt meet my expectations after using my friend's, i dont know if its worth the money though and one last thing, dont update. th new update is what gave the users bugs
