DON'T GO FOR E72 ... DON'T GO FOR A NOKIA
well guys I've to say that I was one big nokia fan for over 12 years now I thought this handset would be my best qwerty choice after the great E61i, E71 and the nice 5800XM but NO it's not, the worst handsets I ever used from nokia,
I did the firmware update(031.023) 2 weeks ago and still facing some stupid issues with the performance and freezing makes me need to restart the phone on a daily basis and some days more than a time
software issues with the new update 031.023:
- each time I use more than one application at the time the phone freezes and stop performing like e dead mate keyboard stops responding.
- the clock at the standby screen goes ... magically disappear (where I don't know).
- the virtual memory goes to Zero so fast with camera app or listing to radio and the phone becomes very very slow
- keyboard stop responding at all except the power button.
moving to the hardware issues
- voice calls quality are below the average comparing to my previous 5800 XM
- loudspeaker is very very bad
- building quality is not that good
- Navi keypad is annoying (thanks to nokia that u can't turn it off)
- the phone become very HOT during the calls
I'm so disappointed with the handset and I'm looking forward to change it NOT with nokia anymore
I think its better to get a solid manufactured handset like an apple or a blackberry

My fone has a strange issue.Each time i unplug the handsfree from the fone,the handsfree icon still appears at the bottom of the screen.I'm unable to spk to anyone without the handsfree.I need to restart the handset each time.Plsssssssssssss help

Madne, 02 Jun 2010Can anyone tell what the radiation is like on this phone?no raidiation you can buy easily dont' look back okay i used this byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
everything nice but sound is not better than e71. ringing volumne not much... its just a business class model

What is the meaning of opinion?
Nokia never read our opinion because always voice problem in mobile so that's way forget nokia why shoud we take other mobile in nokia? we also want all function. Some buddy say that E72 is business fone but
iam house girl, now every buddy want email pdf and word excel. So throw nokia fone now, if he will not make any change in voice. voice must be loud and camera must be best in this phone other wise go to samsung

Hi, I have been using an E61 for some time. It has an Internet Phone software as well. I wonder if E72 has an Internet Phone or VoIP phone software?

Camara must be Carl Zeiss E 72 camera is bed and voice is too much low if somebuddy wasnt slow then use profile. why nokia alwsys give slow volum and pdf and word file can not read not good quality.
Mobile is best but some problem that i wirte good mobile but i want to purchase 11 mobile for my family E 72 but i write my problem. I reqest to gsm arena to send my messg. to nokia head office

I've been using E72 since a month, recently i've upgraded the s/w (030.023) after that i am facing an issue when i connect the headset, the mobile is getting rebooted. please provide me a solution.

Simon Mandy, 02 Jun 2010yesterday I formated my phone with code *#7370#. Before ... moreyou can't revert to the previous version of OS by formatting. The phone just goes back to the way it was when you bought it, with all personal data wiped off. However the OS stays the same as it was before formatting occured (ie if you had version 4 before formatting it will still be version 4 after). In order to go back to a previous version of OS you have to go a nokia centre or use something called nemesis.

In both the native browser and the one I use in my E72 phone; Opera mobile 10, you can choose between "Always ask" or [your accesspoint]. You choose that in the browser-apps options.
