Hi Friends,
I Just buy this phone, but when I turned it ON, In my screen always there is envelop icon behind the LCD, which is always flashing and I can not remove it! does anybody know how can I do it?

I purchased Nokia E72 two weeks Before.
It is working fine.
I used nokia's mobiles N70, N82, 5800, N79, N97 before
But after N82 i like this phone in first firmware it was stable now i updated firmware and its more stable then befor.
just speaker,s sound quality is not good
but not so bad i can compromise,
Becus nothing is perfect in the world even whne you get marr y after some days u,ll feell bad things in your car, bike, vvife and friends but if u want to spend.
i observed that mostly peoples install unsingned or corrupt software and there's phones starts hanging, auto restarting etc.
same i instaled one voip ipmobile software and i felt that mobile is hanging or this software is creating problem then I uninstalled, now again mobile is running fine.
so try to use yours mobile with minimum extra software.
if you hav any doubt thay y I love nokia, specialy E72

Rajesh, 23 Feb 2010One more thing I must tell you that through mobile you wont... moreIt is still not possible during installing connection is lost and procedure to reestablish connection, still goes bust. Whats the problem beyound my resetting still lagging. This is Chinese software updating.

I bought E72 (topaz brown colour) in the month of dec-09 since then i have visited the nokia care for more than 04 times regading phone & space button hang problem.Every time,Nokia care just do the s/w flush,saying phone gets hang only after storing infected data.Problem still occurs frequently,I myself have litterly gone hang by using such type of non sense phone.Finally, i bought samsung S3310,that really good phone with max feature at low price.

I will advise you dont buy this phone, better wait for some months. This has got many software issues. That does not mean u can fix by upgrading the software, bcoz upgrades are not available officially everywhere.
earlier I faced optical key issue, then space bar key issue. Space bar key issue still not solved. And its irritation when u cant type sms or browse internet bcoz space bar is needed everywhere.
Nokia call it best message phone, but they forgot to give enough consideration to keypad specially space bar.
But most importantly u should note the kind of customer you get from them after you buy the phone, its really pathetic.
This is my honest opinion about the phone.

king, 24 Feb 2010updated my e72..tnx mr.rajesh ur d man...i downloaded softw... moreUpdater in firmware checker in cell, specificly states go to nokia.com and update via NSU,through Pc.
How did you do it, or total reverse. I am not even to update via PC connection is lost and tried it many times but in vain.

Nokia E72 is a nice phone with good Camara and nice look.. me plus three of my frds using no problem at all..

- the turning control does not work, with either the call or alarm chosen.
- what/where is the accelerometer here? Was comparing with how this works on iphone, and am flummoxed?

More importantly after buying the phone, u will get worst nokia customer service.

I have few question:
1-how can we distinguish finland version from China version?
2-How can we set alarm for waking up every day? why it does not have any organizer?
3- how can we set Time as background which when we look at phone we can simply see the time?
