But amongst Qwerty phones under Nokia Brand 3 choices E63, E71 and E72. Most stable are E63 and E71...E72 is not stable at this time...If you want a Good built than you can opt for E71 and you get a auto focus camera too...But if you are on a budget than E63 is the one for you...E63 price + USD 80 = E71 price + USD 70 = E72 price. E72 has best features but its not a good built as E71 and not stable at present...Decession is solely yours

i have all the above listed problems , but i have another new problem.
Everytime someone calls me on my e72 , they hear an echo of their own voice .. this gets worse sometimes and barely manageable at other times.
my e72 is 35 days old and i am from bangalore, india
am really frustrated as i am sure nokia does not have a replacement plan for their phones and they will only open the phone and in the process end up damaging its body panels
also note, it is not a network issue as the same sim works beautifully on my n73me.
the problem sometimes does not occur when i restart the phone.
anybody else facing this issue ? any solutions / suggestions ?

Last week I bought Nokia E72. I could not get the incoming calls from any number and other end is getting an message as my phone is busy. I have tried to change all setting and changed the sim card also. But, no use. Anyone have this issues?

So... moreGo for a Black E63.
Start Nokia Messaging on E63 and it can be as good a communication device as E72.
You might get a lower range camera but all other purposes are more than served.
I have had E63 for 9 months after which I took E72 to enhance my e-mail experience and for speed. I have used E72 for two months and now switched back to E63.
In E72 speed is good while viewing contacts or text messages, but not better than E63 while opening office documents.
Nokia Messaging directly opens a mail in HTML format, whereas the "more advanced" version in E72 opens it in text format first. Then you select HTML, and it will begin to retrieve the HTML and waste your time. There are many more issues like, space bar key stops working, hangs when you open Messages and Nokia Messaging. Contacts take time to "buffer" etc.
Don't get worried about "plastic" part of E63, it is sturdy. Black color will give it a sophisticated look.
My advise is from a practical point of view, without even considering the price part. If you consider the part factor then its hands down E63 all the way.
E63 will also be discontinued soon, cause it will eat E72, unless they do something about it.

So... moreif u have the money..for sure get the BB bold..by far the better OS and battery life on it is awesome and the qwerty pad is a pleasure to type on.. if not can always get a nokia e72 it's not too bad either just some bugs on it but nothing serious

been using this phone for a week now..seems to be a very nice phone..i enjoy using the qwerty pad and camera quality is very decent. Had initial problems installing Nokia Software Updater onto my pc (win7) after some trail and error managed to get everything in working order..the new firmware sure fixes some of the visible bugs on the phone..but still cant use some of the apps via wifi yet

So what would you advice me on? I need a full physical qwerty keyboard phone with a very good and stable Operating System for messaging, organising myself using the calender, occasionally emails and web-browsing. I need a good quality Build and a great battery life.... I have not had and used the Nokia E71, so what is boils down to is these devices that I have in mind...... Nokia E72, Nokia E71 or The New Blackberry Bold 9700???
Please, I would be very grateful if you have any suggestions or word of advice for me on a smart-phone device to get..... I am waiting very urgently for your reply. Thanks a lot in advance.....

I own this phone for a couple of days and using it is a pain every day. It does not connect to email account, i somehow manually configured it after that the wizzard broked it and i cant use it anymore. The applications are hidden within too many layers of icons and i have to spend 5 minutes to remember where i can find them. Some programs refuse to connect to internet through wifi even if i disabled the other connections.

Just sent my t mobile E72 handset back after 1 day,Terrible build quality, flimsy battery cover which does not fit properly, and fragile keys that look like they will snap at the edges within a month, light leakage under the top buttons.Handset was a made in finland one, but i have to say this handset will not stand up to normal every day use, my advice is to ask to see one out of the box before buying. very bulky and awkward size and that would be ok if it was well made, but for me i will be looking at N97 mini, as this looks much better quality.

In my three days old E72 the GPS refuses to show any signal strength. So GPS has never worked on my E72 till now. Can my GPS component be defective?
Anyone else facing similar problem?

Very Expensive 23K vs Blackberry 16K for same features in India
Horrible Camera
5MP - it is a sham
Auto Focus is a sham
Can taking a snap without the flash even if we siwtch off flash
Business card Reader - A Sham
Picture Quality - Good only in sunlight NOT indoors
Mail Service
No Blackberry in E72
Push mail doesn't work as my operator Vodafone says E72 software isnt working
Even when it works every morning you have to restart the phone
Space Key - gets jammed once a week - again restart the phone
Advance Call Managemnet Software - Removed ( was there in E71)
Their Tag Line " how we respond are Who we are are"
-Aptly describes the situation of Nokia currently
Horible Customer Service - NO Toll Free no and what more u gotta add STD Code for dialing
Showrooms says they are not responsible and goto cutomer service centre where there is no service
Quick Office - Not at all user friendly
Also you cant work on two documents at once i.e. if you want to copy from one file and paste in a new file it is not possible - so what is the point of editing option
Simple function such as Cut n Paste very difficult and NOT Available in E-mail functions
try to delete more than a line when forwarding and entire matter gets deleted
Ovi Software - FREE - is misguiding as u cnat download the software/themes on your desktop and install in ur phone - Hv to download via Link (Operator Charges finish you)
