it has notifications light for new messages,emails,missed calls.. Go to ctrl panel-setting-personal.-notif.lights. Then check all boxes.

I got my E72 two weeks back found it a perfect one for both business and multimedia purposes, i have already used BB 8310, 8900 and 9000 phones but found this one above all, yes BB is a big status symbol for the businessmen but why not to get all goood aspects in low price and also get push emails free as u have to pay alot for BIS. Price is one factor Bold 9000(In Pakistan)is of 45K and 9700 of 50K plus Rs.1000 p/m for BIS and u have to pay for rgular Gprs package for e72 which is max Rs.500 p/m for unlimited usage also the camera is great, you tube is there (Very imp for utube lovers) so BB users cannot enjoy streaming videos on their handhelds. But atlast and finally its U who can decide which one is best for ur ownself.

Hi, i am currently looking to upgrade my phone. i have narrowed it down to an E72 or an iphone 3GS. can anyone provide some feedback on which way they think i should go??
i currently have an E71. i reckon its a great phone and love how compact it is, but the buttons are quite small. and i keep hearing about all the hype surrounding the iphone. i use my phone for work with calendar and email sync, as well as personal use.
some feedback from users of either or both would be appreciated.

No phone can match the security level and push mail efficiency of RIM's devices..
If your phone is solely, or primarily for business messaging, and anything more is just a bonus to you rather than necessity, just get the Bold 2.. if you still struggling which to choose, the e72 has some firmware malfunctions for some units which till now has yet to be resolved.. for BB phone, it's far more stable in terms of its operating system and applications.. but again, u're paying a premium over it..
much depends on how much you love your e71.. its successor is better than it in few aspects, but really the current version is still quite unstable.. unless u're willing to wait a few months more.. 1 thing i wanna add for Nokia: it's life-time free Ovi Maps.. you don't get those with RIM.. so it's still pretty much your own effort to make a decision.. think wise.. that's all i can say..

please stop it to put the votes in the hell ... e71 was not even the hundredth place, and now magically E72 is the first ... then who knows what improvements ... who understands understand!

Please help me pick between this and the E71!
The E72 looks better on paper in every respect, but I can't help but wonder if the "upgrades" are indeed worth the extra ~USD100 it costs over the E71.

Does anyone know whether the Nokia E72 or the Blackberry 9700 better? I compared them, read other forums and found that they are quite similar smartphones. I know it probably comes down to preference but can anyone convince me that one is better than the other? My contract is nearly done and I need to make the right choice!!!
BTW my current phone is a Nokia E71 which I find is an excellent phone but my mates at work tell me that Blackberry is the way to go. I've tried out a Blackberry in shops and it does feel different menu-wise, etc. but I can basically accustom myself to any smartphone with ease. Thanks

me having gprs connectivity problem on my phone e72.. i can use idea gprs very easily but not with bsnl, even after calling cust care many times, problem is not solved.. problem is only with gprs settings.. any help????

Are you aware about the Consumer rights ??? Nokia gives you 1 year warranty...do you get warranty in your country ??? If you open the seal and the handset is faulty no way you are bound to buy it. Its the fault of Nokia's QC department...Not yours as a buyer...By the way...open your eyes and read my posts...I bought E72 not twice but Thrice. My 3rd E72 from Finland is rock solid and 101% stable without any faults whatsoever...I have put it in my collection.
