External, 14 Jan 2010I want to buy this phone and use it on wifi only at home an... moreRight now in this world there are only 3 handsets which will deliver to you longest battery life if you are 24/7 with bluetooth and Wifi ON> E52 ( longest life ), E55 and E72. I dont know how long will battery last but it will definitely be much longer than any other handset ever made with Wifi capability.

I want to buy this phone and use it on wifi only at home and work.
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to leave the wifi on the phone On all the time and get notices when I get an email or when someone is sending me an IM or an incoming skype call (on nimbuz or fring)?
how long will the battery last with the wifi on (and maybe even Bluetooth)?
how effective is the build in mail program for retrieving regular mail from the server? (not mail for exchange) does it support push through Nokia's servers?

I dont know why the people r having problem in setting e-mail, i have set up 5 e-mail acccounts with the nokia messaging, and it has been working flawlessly, you just have to enter ur email id and password, and it sets up the mailboxes by itself.

I love my E72. Any one having email issues should sign up for nokia messaging service. Its free for life with the purchase of your hand set. check it out at www.emial.nokia.com, and it is real puch email

Hi All,
Please do review commnets form Nokia forum before buying this phone, i am using from last 2 weeks and had expereance lot of problems.
1. Gmail setup - after lot of struggling able to setup but phote gets hang and bigger problem is its not get synchronised. Whts the use than.
2. Outlook - Not able to setup , maybe problem with my credentials, not sure.
3. No audio jack
4. Speakers are not good and headset s horrible.
Seems software s not stable as everytime Nokia releases with stabalising the software and release firmware to upgrade it.
Hope this wud be useful for someone.

This is to many E72 lovers, instead of begging people not to comment against E72 you guys should be here posting the great things your E72 can do. You should be speaking how you are being helped along with your day to day activities with E72 in your hand. Yuu should be speaking about updated features and improvements in E72 after upgrading it with new firmware 22.007. There is a lot to say about E72 and this will seek you new wave of interested would be E72 users who will happily buy E72 as their new phone...Cheers...

The biggest set back is you can't disable Video Call from the menu, the Contacts is not well organized like the BB and the phone log is not all in 1 screen. On top of that, you can't tell what # it is from the Missed, Received or Dialed screen. All it says is name, date and time.
