Mail Exchange is an EPIC FAIL; however, my new shiny E72 makes for a nice looking paper weight until Nokia decides to fix this major problem with a firmware update.

I am a current user of the E72. I love it and its awsome practicaly better than most business phones. but my only problem is that sometimes when browsing heavy sites especially social sites it just closes that page automatically without even informing and it's pretty annoying. But its Great to use.

e72 working fine with me. it is a much awaited business phone. if ur much into business its the best pick. awesome querty pad and a beautiful 5 mp cam. its very handy and attractive

I really dont know where all the bad reviews on this phone are coming from or why but all I can say is I have an E72 (made in Finland) and it is brilliant. The only issue I see is some light leak at the menu key but other than that I have had zero problems. Are the phones mentioned in some reviews from a defective batch or badly made in the far east? The E72 is far superior to the E71 which I had previous and all the other touch phone tat devices out there. If you want a good business phone with no hassle then I highly recommend this phone.

I live in Saudi Arabia (jeddah). I have waited for this phone for a loong time. I was hoping to get the Black color, but hold behold, we dont have any. We get the topaz color. I was wondering does anyone for the love of god know when we will get all the colors. If introducing one color into a specific market as a marekting tool, then it sucks. I know ppl who waited for this phone and instead of waiting for the black or grey color, they are going to SE or/and bb. I am gonna wait another month, but then i am moving onto BB. If anyone has updates, plz share. Good luck to everyone

To all those who feel E72 is special,
Please tell us in what terms it is a great buy.Just by posting " DON'T LISTEN TO COMPLAINTS AND JUST BUY IT, YOU WONT REGRET" Anybody who reads your comments would like to know how genuine is your advice as he is the one who is falling into trap and paying his hard earned money on this phone.
I have used this phone and though I was not very satisfied with its built but admired its camera and fp2 software when compared to E71. But apart from that there are various points which will scare away many buyers and stay put till Nokia comes up with many fixes in Hardware as well as firmware in near future.
Earlier buyers are the ones who have been restlessly waiting for its release ( as you know E72 was delayed by 2 months ). They are the victims who pay high amount happily and have a feeling of relief when they hold E72 in their hands. But sooner or later will think if they would have got a perfect product they would have so thankfull to Nokia.
But alas, Nokia E72 has still got to undergo various improvements and in next 1 or 2 months you can buy this product at about USD 350 with much improved and refined finish.
Keep reading about its User comments, as the amount of info we get on this site will help us to make right decessions.

Mine connects immediately and stay connected till I turn the bluetooth off. By the way have you been through various pages where E72 users have posted their likes and dislikes about E72. I suggest you read them. Brother, check your unit with Nokia, it is not a firmware default, maybe your bluetooth headset is giving you problem as bluetooth on E72 works flawlessly. Have a nice day.

All Nokia E series mobiles are FAKE business mobiles. These mobiles are advertised as a business mobiles but it does not serve your business needs. Even it does not have a capability to synchronize the outlook folders properly. It synchs only inbox and that too not a real time basis.
If you are business user go for BLACKBERRY or WINDOWS MOBILE..

who said 600mhz is slower than a 528mhz?yo bro...maybe what u have is a fake phone.i have used even an 800mhz phone and another 600mhz phone so i know when i say that e72 is fast enough.it is able to play mkv format video without any problem.as far x peria it is not even fast enough to handle its own ui.so pls stop comparing with a shitty phone.im talkind based with comparison with omnia2.to those who want to buy this phone,just go ahead.no complaints for this phone.the only thing is some problem when connect to a bluetooth headset.and this will be fixed with the upcoming firmware.stop giving ppl wrong informations!!!!!!

Friends, I have been a great admirer of Nokias with Qwerty pad and E series. Jumping from e71 to e72 Nokia have expanded the era of communication. Before every user of E71 said why do you need a good camera, this is a business phone. But with launch of E72 every user is happy with presence of decent camera and looking forward to having Carl Zeis on E72. Ha Ha..... How a human being learns to adopt to conditions.
Now some facts about E72, presence of 600 mhz processor. WOW this is speed. But what can it do???? Do you have any aplications which runs better on E72 and does not run on E71. NO,,,NO,,,NO. So????
I tried to run mpeg4 video files on E72 which did not run on E71. It lagged like anything. But on E72 it ran but with chopping effect. Video did hanged various times on 600 mhz E72. Too Bad...
I tried the same video files on Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. The video was as smooth as if I am watching clips on my Centrino Laptop. Fantastic.... Now which processor does X1 use??? It uses Qualcomm 528 mhz processor.
WHAT HAPPENED TO NOKIA?????? WHY 600 mhz processor looses its speed and look like a 300 mhz when it runs Video files????? Is it a mere money making gimmick??? You guys decide......
The free memory factor is bothering everyone. Too less memory left after a fast faster fastest boot up time. Whats the use?????
Keyboard may fascinate some but E71 users will not find anything so interesting about it.
Agree or not, Built quality of E72 is a letdown when you expect your mobile to have a robust looks. You keep thinking if only Nokia would have made it a bit more sturdier.
Optical trackpoint keeps making Tic Tac Toe noise and sometimes feel loose. Though using it is a great experience but quality of built is low.
Camera is good and definitely much better than E71 but not as good as N82, N95 etc. By the way are you choosing this phone for its camera?????
Whats so special about E72, you may guess its software fp2. Yes, you may be right. But apart from a better web browser and flashy interface I dont see any use of it. By the way Opera Mini on E71 is considered a best web browsing experience and its free. We are expecting version anytime soon and it will add a much better web browsing environment on E71.
Am I here to promote E71. NO..... I am here to share my experience and guide those who like E72 but not sure if should but it because of too many complaints and last but not least the price factor.

I Want to tell you that i have this phone for last 2 week it was really great and superb processor, Ignore all post who saying negative comment on this phone by this phone from nokia priority store( buy only MAde by Nokia)

Dear Nokia! Blackberry is actually very relaxed about your advertising in US, because your E72 sucks! It's the worst phone ever launched - underdelivered significantly against my expectations:
Push e-mail works, but is VEEEEERY slow to open and often just hangs, or freezes for many seconds. You can't delete appointments in your Nokia calendar that got there from the exchange server.
Accessing e-mails via a different menu than messaging is for those with IQ above 161, I guess, totally beyond my understanding.
IMAP e-mail can not download new stuff via different Wi-Fi networks (or a group), only one connection point must be pre-selected. Why if Exchange mail can handle that???
The touch sensitive button (an "advanced" copy of the one Blackberry invented) is the biggest crap of all times. Unresponsive, unpredictable and inefficient for e-mail scrolling.
The menu animations and fade-in/fade-out effects are soooo slow,I want to turn them off, but can't. Even Windows7 has that feature!
The QWERTZ keyboard is the worse of all times, keys N,M,J,K respond badly to only a very strong stroke.
The Media Gallery is the worse of all that I have ever seen on any handheld devices. Inventing new transition effects that slow down a business phone is useless. Busy people don't want to watch a thumbnail disappearing for 2 seconds and new appearing for 3 seconds. Can you not re-invent the good old time Media Gallery from E71, please? It was so simple and you could even have pictures in FOLDERS!!! E72 can not...
Accessing contacts for 30seconds to enable to add a recipient to address book is something that even the old Philips Fizz (dated 1996) could do better and faster!
I often use the call log feature, but it's useless when it deletes all records the next day, even if you have the period set for 30.
Double clicking the SHIFT key does not turn the CAPS LOCK on? Why not? E71 had it!
Holding the function key when typing a number into a number field results of nothing being entered at all. Please Nokia, don't try to be smarter than us, your users!
Dear Blackberry, feel free to use my profile, my name and my post for your advertising, I will be more than happy if you use it. How else should I punish Nokia, if none of the reasons above are good enough to return the phone and get my money back?
Hoping for a quick firmware update at least
