waiting to order this as it due in p??y dot com on 15th december but due to it been preorder its instantly sold out right now 3.35am 15th..

    I am using this phone from last one week replacing i phone 3gs. I found this is better handset then i phone in many ways and value for money. I do not find any major bug camera os and battery is very good. Stable phone. Worth buying.

      Just received my E72 today, to replace an I phone 3GS which replaced a Blackberry Bold. For me the E72 does what I need with out the fuss or confusion of the others. All I need as an excellent business phone, battery life is far better, real keys over the I phone are better, and the more intuative operating system compared to the Blackberry is much better. If your in your 40's like me and dont want a kids 1 minute wonder phone, then this is for you!

The majority if carriers here now have data plans, where you sacrifice a few calls in exchange for added data. As for this phone it's interesting one some people love it, some people hate it. Personally when I used it, it felt typically symbian a little slow and cumbersome, but that is just me. Personally for what you need I'd be more inclined to be looking at Blackberry's, iPhones etc. far more efficient at those tasks (once again my opinion).

            went from nokia n82 to nokia e72.... i am very dissappointed !!!!!!!!!!! never expected this from nokia after i have spent 490 euros for this crappy device!!!! it is slow, light leakages make it look cheap,freezes when playing videos over youtube, screen resolution is crap and Yes it has firmware bugs...... Nokia Do Something!!!!

              I have read all these posts and am still undecided on whether to get it or not...

              I live in Australia, and will be using the phone for messaging, email and IM...to the extreme...with of course some pictures and music, but is it a good phone? Can anyone give me honest opinions on whether the phone will suit my needs....?

              Also, the Nokia Messaging lifetime subscription, does that mean once I set up my email and IM chat, I get unlimited email and IM? Or will I have to be connected to a network (cost!) to access them?

              And how does the IM function work?

              Any opinions will be appreciated...thanks :)

                Totally waste of money.. I thought I was upgrading to a better phone than nokia e71, but this is totally unacceptable downgrade.. Very slow system with buggy software.. Nokia try to make it pretty by having a little animation of fade in and out.. But for a business phone, we don't want any of that.. We just want a quick access to contacts, make calls and appointments..

                Where are you standing NOKIA? R u try to going after iPhone? Or we should change to blackberry? Because my bb is far far far better companion for my business.

BUT IT AFFECTS ME! these complaints makes me aware of the various defects the phone has. it is a means to promote awareness. if that disturbs u,no need 4 u to complain. but u cant order others not to complain sir. i agree that no mob is perfect, no 1 is perfect. perhaps thats y we have the 3 duos: good, better, best

                      I almost can see on every new phone releases there's always complaints blah blah blah...not even one new phone release will have zero complaints and praises through out.Go and read now just pick a phone Sony,LG,Samsung,etc.. see for yourself.

                      Do you think by complaining can make everything change? By comparing finland make and china Nokia make a big deal? See you computer/pc parts,hardwares 99% to 100% were all made in China!! Go take a look

                      I had this phone for coming 3 weeks already (China made).Last charge last me close to 6 days.I strongly believe with the new updated firmware,most of the bugs will be corrected.

                      Just remember,there could never be a perfect phone or any other things including....US.Be thankful to what you have:)

                            This is what Nokia should be doing rite now as v speak, wokring on E72X, which this, all metel and glass, Carl Zeiss Lens, Metal keeys, better and brighter reslution for screen, better email syncing with email clients, remove the Dpad and make it a flat Dpad which will make it easier to move, better speaker quiality, get rid of light leakage, and charge 500 if u want bc u already charge for this shty set anways, and if anyone wants to add on to the list plz do so see if Nokia hears is and i would like to get yes or no's from ppl thankz

                              responsive and the gmail is almost instant. I do not know how some users are having so many problems.
                              I think a problem that occur a few times is the spacebar getting stuck and optinav which can be easily solve by firmware update later
                              Other than that everything works ok
                              It is an almost perfect phone for me

                                  Worst Nokia I've owned! Went from an N95, N82 (BEST), N96, N97 and now E72 (WORST-NO Question). Should have gone with BB! Might just be my last Nokia.
                                  Restarts on its own
                                  NO sound volume. Lay it on a bed or sofa, you'll never hear it ring. Turn it face down (speaker up) it won't ring.
                                  Space bar freezes
                                  Phone locks up
                                  Email won't sync correctly
                                  Will not directly upload photos to any social network except OVI
                                  Worst pictures of any phone I have ever owned

Look at one of the post below mine and you will see one who mentions something about topaz brown.
