Today I went to a Mobile store and had... moreDont go for E72- It is not a fully equipped mailing device.
The e-mail client looks good, but it useless.
1) An email containing a "forward mail" cannot be viewed (the forward mail sent as an attachment cannot be viewed).
2) Some HTML formats are not supported.
3)Even when you have selected to download the complete mail including attachments for auto-retrieval, it only downloads the headers. When you open the mail, it then begins to download the full mail, thus wasting precious time.
E71/E63 software is much better

what ab... moreMay be the price is a littel high because it`s anew model, but if you want to bring it from abroad will cost you around 600$
E 75 is ok,cheaper but battary`s not as good as 71 and 72

Hi to everyone...
Today I went to a Mobile store and had a chance to compare E72 head to head with E71 (white). First imperssions, E72 seemed so solid jus like a PERFECT E71 is!
Now I'm so so CONFUSED!!:( I really don't know what to do,is it better to buy E71 White or E72.
I'm reading opinions in here constantly and I saw that E72 has some really issues and bugs! this thing makes me to worry so much! in the other hand E71 is just a piece of PERFECT!
by the way IS IT WORTHY ALSO TO GO FROM iPhone 3G to Nokia E71 or or or E72???? cuz'I also can't decide is it worthy to go from iPhone 3G!!
Please I'm waiting for your worthy opinions please:):)

csTan, 02 Dec 2009Can the Nokia E72 running Skype software?Very strangely this set is not offering skype connectivity over wi-fi. It asks for service provider's iinternet / gprs service which defeats the purpose to download skype. Is anyone else having the same issue?

BBTECH, 02 Dec 2009E72 has the SMS Timing issue it only work on EUROPEAN ... moreI dont think this issue is happening with all sets. My sms are correctly timed and I live outside of Europe. You better adjust your time zone. That could be the only explanantion.

I am a big fan of Blackberry and still use 8900 Curve for my emails and official stuff. I always have a second handset for my personal life. i have used a lot of handsets over the past 4-5 years, but none attracted me as much as Nokia E71. Now I am a mature man and want a set that looks good when held in my hands and that also gives me all the goodies like good camera, good music, a good messaging option so that I can use it in my leisure time. E71 was without doubt the most elegant handset I ever used, butI always disliked its camera and the music functionality. In this context E72 is a perfect set, as its got a very decent camera, excellent music player with 3.5 mm jack and it has maintained the good looks, though it is not as good looking as E71.
In a nutshell, despite of its qwerty and nokia messaging feature, it can not beat the blackberry in this department. Not to mention BB has an excellent music player too. However E72 is a beautiful all rounder and a must have for gadget lovers. my advice to all e71 owners would be to go for it unless u r addicted to the sleekness of e71. It beats e71 in all other departments.
But if u want it purely for official and business use, BB must be another option. As I am a proud owner of a black e72, I would be happy to answer ur queries about any function or comparison.

E72 has the SMS Timing issue
it only work on EUROPEAN TIME ZONE
when u switch to any ther country, it always show 5 hours below

I am going to sell my E72 and go in for a Blackberry, or I'd rather stick with my old E63. The mail clients sucks.... rather stinks.
I changed from E63only for a better mail experience and this is SAD. I don't know how a business user will tolerate such mistakes in the mail-client.
I am most disappointed with Nokia - making us wait for this device and giving us a SICK messaging service.
The looks and everything is okay, but the main purpose of mailing is getting defeated.

I'm also from Cairo Egypt, few days ago i went to I2 in City Stars asking for this mobile. They told me that the only information they have is that it will be late releasing this mobile in Egypt. They donno y they donno untill when. but only it will be late. not near.
I'm trying to get it from UAE.

I'm not from India but setting the Chat Application is the same for everyone I guess.
You can choose to install the Chat application and/or the other 2 voip apps. They are different from each other. I had no trouble installing the Chat App and logging on to my Ovi & YM accounts.
