brynn, 17 Nov 2009I pity the shopkeeper who has to serve sherriff with his E7... moreha ha ha well said brynn...i am very much excited but yet stable....though i have used symbian from 7610...than to n70...n72...than n73 and e51....i loved them all...though e51 is the best off all..i dint buy e71 cause it 2.5 mm jack..and i knew an upgrade was round the corner when e75 came...and that sliding key board really turned me off...than i read about e72 ....and now its 8 months later my dream is materializing. and yes!!!! there is no better os than symbian....the main advantage is the plethora of applications u get for this os....with bb and apple and others...its kind of painful to find so many....and winmo sucks as we use same in the comp and we need a change....as for android ...i think its still needs to be refined. and i have never used bada or limo or maemo. so until than e72 rocks and will rule the roost unless nokia comes with e73 or e76.

I pity the shopkeeper who has to serve sherriff with his E72 ..He or she will need some tablets for shock,,paramedics to revive him,,lots of kitchen roll to mop up the drool and an ambulance to take him home and aftercare for 3 days..I bet you do not sleep the night before you go to get your e72..It wont be to long now..
Sherriff how long have you been with symbian cause for me since 3650,,i ask because i have been round other o/s and feature fones but always end up back with symbian..People can scoff but it does what i want and can swap all the menus round and folders to what i want for eg i can put games in my office if i want or the first time i hit menu key i can open up converter if i wish..with any other systen these icons are fixed..With bb you dont know what your getting and its really for buisnessess whereas symbian E,,N,,Xppressmusic or series 40 contain good multimedia,,pim,,fun,,serious apps throughout and thats why nokia got it right..Maybe other systems are in the making like android and bada but unless they bring out button versions then its no good to me,,touchscreens are out..

Victor, 17 Nov 2009I just came back from seeing several mobile phones shop...T... moreBe very carefull,,i know its easier said than done but even here in uk i nearly lost out to firm based here cause they disappeared off line 2 weeks after getting n80 fixed,,and,,the n80 was not destined for uk it was for west germany..I had to get proof i bought it in uk to get it fixed..Even if it costs a bit more from someone you trust i would say its worth it..Thats what ive learnt..

E72 is available in Lahore Pakistan but only in topaz brown colour for Rs 44,000....i went myself and checked out the handset.....it is very nice but i am not sure if it is that much faster then the E71 as far as user interface is concerned......anyways i am surely getting this handset but only in black or metal grey colour....so i have to wait :(

I just came back from seeing several mobile phones shop...They are all selling it at around the same price...but GUESS WHAT, they are all saying that they are selling it without any warranties...meaning buy it at your own risk...Even the nokia dealer doesnt sell it...i think i will wait and buy it from the dealer...

hey dude.. me from malaysia.. already bought it.. both for me and wife.. it's aaaooooooeeewwwsome due.. it's a great phone.. already upgrade to 16gb and it works as normal.. already update the gps map.. and install few games and programes. mine is black and my wife silver.. text masagging up to 10 pages.. connection speed.. faster than my laptop.. what else can you say..!! anyone cares to take my laptop now..!! i'm selling it for free.. got my E72 it's more then enough..!!!

micro usb charging is available.
the charger is 2.5mm
the memory card support is 16 gb...in one review i had read that it worked perfectly normal with upto 15 gb filled and another review claimed it can easily work with 32 gb. remember fp2 has been tweaked very well.
and the phone is ll metal dont worry and one review claimed that even the buttons have metallic feel....i presume they were referring to the application shortcut keys.
a guy who bought the phone from malaysiya claimed that there were 2 pre installed games and didnt mention which ones.....whereas many reviews claimed no games were found maybe cause their models were the proto versions.
and about the accelerometer ...its just the sensor which is implemented in e72...which means u cant have motion sensor gaming nor scree rotation (which is practically not necessary)....here the accelerometer sensor is only used for tap for time, snoozing alarms and silencing calls by just flipping it.
and on the color...topaz is for lady ceos i guess and go for black ...its a safe bet and e72 is compatible with exchangeable covers so taht should not be a problem.
and wat the.....???? if the phone is available go get it. wat are u doing yet??? i am so jealous its not yet released in india. go for it buddy.

bold 9700 rules,in this site it has an average rating 8.7 it scores above this peace of crap,,, i dont get why they dont have it in the top rankings.....it's d steadiest...such devices r not for taking pics like e72...

Hi guys, to those lucky few who have the Nokia "Shiny Bullet" E72, my queries are as follows;
Can you confirm no accerolometer? I am not too bothered as I prefer Panoramic views anyway (which we get on TVs, PC monitors, laptops etc). This is why I love this phone.
Is charging only USB or can we choice between USB and a normal charger socket? What charger socket is supplied?
I am considering getting a 16 GIG Memory card? Will the phone take that? Do any of you have a 32 GIG SD card installed which works perfectly?
Is the phone plastic as I have heard or metal like the E71?
How many games come with this phone and what games are they? I know I can download numerous from various websites but I am just curious.
It is NOW available in the UK from the UK Nokia website and the Nokia Store in Regents Street, West End London. Surely it now available in Western Europe too and South America, Asia and Africa?
I think I prefer Silver or Black. Topaz doesn't look nice in my opinion. Maybe in the flesh, Topaz would look stunning.
