Worst. Nokia hasn't released maps for E72. So will have to wait.

i went on to try the optical trackpad..it doesn't seem very accurate as compared to the blackberry curve 8520.

on the web browser especially, with the same finger flicking pattern, e72 sometimes scroll and sometimes doesn't register. In fact, most of the time it doesn't register well and found it quite annoying.

i was kind of apprehensive about the track pad navi key...any way people have said that its really good with default applications and interface.
anybody give a review of the camera and the accelerometer.

                      keep them coming guys.

I just bought this phone. Looks great, solid build quality. Its a top quality finish(copper color).Nothing looks cheap and you will be happy to carry it around in a crowd. but my fingure prints are all over the back cover and the screen is a bit smaller than i would have liked. Also for guys with big fingures the qwerty pad may be a bit annoying.

waiting to explore all the features.

Continue with e72 optical navigate key:

you could turn the function on/off, vibration on/off and sensitivity, low, medium or high. Personally i find turning the vibration on is quite annoying.

The navi key is very functional if your menu is set to list. Just by scrolling up and down. For those opera mini fans, sorry to say that it's really painful to use! It's not as responsive as the built-in browser.

As for opera mobile, somehow the 'U' key doesn't work, it appear to be *. Perhaps someone could help me on this.

To Vanessa, i'm using a sandisk 8Gb card, class 6, it works just fine. I believe it should work with any 3rd party cards.

                            Cheers

Shands, 14 Nov 2009It's official now, Nokia and the E72 have lost to Blackberr... moreNothing is official at all except in your head,,i certainly have no need for a blackberry they are a very niche product..The e61,,e61i,e63,,e71,,e72 are really big sellers as they are buisness/multimedia powerhouse smartfones with a plethora of software..

How do they fit all the bits in these skinny fones and have a battery life thats so good ????

It's official now, Nokia and the E72 have lost to Blackberry. The new BB Bold 9700 is being released on Monday and Friday (depending on carrier). These two phones are essentially the same thing so Nokia lost it big time. Everyone who would have gotten an E72 is getting a Bold now because it is here and also a great phone.

Screw Nokia anyway, I'm not waiting for this
