Vodafone have finally updated their website to say 'November' for their coming soon E72 page. Still not up for pre-order unless you're upgrading though.
I'm watching my inbox closely for an order update, as I was told that Vodafone would be releasing it tomorrow (November 12th)...let's see what happens

It all depends what you need out of a device if its constant email then you would go for the bb ,,i would do but i like all the multimedia gubbins cause i dont have mp3 player digicam etc so use the smartfone for the whole lot ,,even bedside alarm clock,,timewaster games and so on...The e72 suits the lot for me plus i hate touchscreens..

You have no specific tym fram... morewat the eff A.d?????.........bb a status symbol .......ha ha ha no way...maybe as an auxiliary phone to be used in nam ...thats it....and u asked for time fram .....in 2009 for sure....and who the hell told me uses a nseries phone...i had an e51 until i lost now i got moto rokr....anyway talking about e72....the number of productivity applications available for symbian dwarfs all the features of blackberry...and talking about status....well to be true it had some ...cause it was endemic to NAM and not much of email applications were available for mobiles before....but now u can excess ur emails even on $100 phone so that makes bb no special .....maybe it had a headstart ....but nokia is a giant and dont ever think of facing it headlong....the only area where the bb scores over e72 is the screen clarity and resolution...well but e72 compensates with top end gps, FOTA, 600 mhz processor etc etc..and u said a 600 mhz processor slags...ha ha ha u should have put it as wat if the phone slags...and it wont cause the 600 mhz processor will keep it chirpy enough and the ram is backdraw...we needed 256 atleast but no probs ...all the hands on reviews say that s60 v3 fp2 has been very well tweaked and one review claimed that even with 8 3rd applications running in the background the phone was lightning fast...wat more do u need man...bb is for some boring mind controlled businessman who just read their emails and answer calls...but for real gadget lovers and tech connoisseurs nokia e72 rules the roost and can satisfy your appetite for the latest of technology in your palm. with this phone u can be tension free about upgrading atleast for two more years.......and with more firmware updates more tweaks can be expected.......SO PEOPLE PLEASE WAIT U WILL GET BY CHRISTMAS....OR U WILL REGRET IF U GET AN AINO SATIO OR BB WHICH ARE JUST OVER HYPED AND GLOSSY SURFACED. E72 IS GONNA BE THE BIG DADDY OF ALL MOBILE PHONES IN 2010.

Still waiting. The "coming soon" effect on this gadget has become pathetic. Nokia has to learn how to properly announce and release products without delays that end up damaging its image and overall customer satisfaction. I myself am likely to buy another model in the next 2 days... cannot wait any longer.

A.D. where do you live? BB is for the most part a NORTH AMERICAN thing...status symbol...yeah right I went home to the states for a month back in July..EVERYONE and there mother has a freekin BB and the crazy thing is 95% of them don't need it. E72 no match for BB. Check the sales #s on the E71 (yeah that good) now the E72 has almost twice the processing speed (slow..i think not) an upgraded camera..and a ton of other goodies that the PHONE Of THE YEAR (E71 from 2 reputable Organizations) didn't have....so go ahead with your BB that you may or may not be able to use overseas (if you go that far) and leave the rest of us to our DEVICE...by the way Check out Eldars review of this BEAST and an even more thorough review at allaboutnokia.com You'll be impressed

You have no specific tym frame of when itz gonna get launched and you are begging people to wait more n more :). Also you are a Nseries user not an Eseries or a Black Berry one, still you are making tall claims that BB Curve is no match to Nokia E72 ?? and I never even compared them. Nokia themselves don't know when is this over-hyped phone coming and u are getting all worked up for it?? Sherriff is ol.. :P and thinks more like a sergant... Screw Nokia people BB is the best business phone ever as they are the pioneers in Business Phones... Symbian sucks anyways so a 600 Mhz processor will only slag with all that multi-media features (if they ever cramp it into that slim waste line.) Also like da Stupid sherriff mentioned to wait for this phone or regret ones it released... I say to him... wait for the phone and regret when itz released coz its just gonna flop like N97 mini. However if it does really do what nokia projects you can always buy it later right and get the reduced price benefit as well... All said Nokia is no match to BB as a 'Status Symbol'.
So make wise decisions... don't let some 'Sherriff' (with no release dates) fool you...

Try the shops in Musaafi Khaana and at Mainsh Market, a couple of them have the demo handset available, one of the store belongs to my firend hence i got to know about it.
He has to say the once they get the stocks the tentative launch is within a fortnight.
